We have visited this place several times for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The first few times, the food and service were good. The past couple of times, the food takes far, too long to come out...it isnât very flavorful and the temperature isnât hot enough. Still, we continue to go; hoping it will get better. Yesterday, on Motherâs Day, it was the worst, by far. When we first arrived, the server told us the kitchen was backed up and to expect a long wait for our food. We decided to stay, thinking it couldnât be that bad. We sat there for an hour and waited for our food. We noticed that the guys delivering the food werenât sure where the plates were supposed to go and would often give the food to the wrong tables. During this time, the server kept our water and coffee full, so that was nice. She was very friendly and apologetic. Like always, each time new customers arrived, they waited at the door to be seated, because itâs unclear what is expected...after a few minutes, a server would tell them to sit anywhere they like today (a seat yourself sign at the door would be so much easier). However, I feel that many of these issues with the restaurant could be resolved with better management. I do think theyâre trying, which is why we keep returning to...

We ordered boudin eggrolls as an appetizer, which were good, though the sauce selection for those seemed odd. Hubs had a gator burger with fries. The burger was dry and had very little on it. The fries were old, but to be fair, they did bring him some new fries. I had the hamburger steak, which I thought was good. The garlic mashed potatoes were fake, and the macaroni and cheese is just not what I expected.
Our server was nice. But that's not enough for us to want to go back. We hate leaving less than stellar reviews for local businesses, because we are all about #shoplocal, but this isn't a place that we would bring friends or out of town guests for sure. We saw that they have a full breakfast menu and usually have weekly lunch specials, so maybe it was just the time of day we...
