This used to be a frequent go-to for a quick family dinner, this is not the case after today. I pulled up and had a bigger party to feed than usual, so I ordered an extra side of mashed potatoes and macaroni in addition to the two sides that come with the 25 Express Tender Family Meal, however, after leaving I got home to find that I didn't receive ANY of my sides. Instead, I unbagged 4 family-sized containers of gravy. Now I was a little upset but since I live across town from this location and no one was too mad about it I just decided to call and let them know what happened. After confirming that I didn't "accidentally" leave them "at the bottom of the brown bag" they gave me (guess that happens a lot) I was transferred to the manager, Derek. I explained to Derek what happened and he puts me on a 10 minute hold, then Derek gets back on the phone at informs me that he can "tell" I got my sides from looking back at the camera. I can understand seeing the right number of items go into a bag but to tell me that you're certain they aren't all gravy is a little weird, so I let Derek know I would have no issue at this point bagging my gravies up and bringing them in for Derek to see with his own eyes. Obviously, they didn't want me to do this, so Derek goes on explaining how he sees the correct number of items go into the bag so I must be lying. Now I'm sitting here with a little less than 4 family-sized containers of gravy and a little more hatred for people named Derek. So I probably won't be going back anytime soon, BUT if you happen to like paying for far too many sides of what I think is supposed to be free gravy and being talked down to, 10/10...

When I called to inform them the girl who answered was very condescending saying, "I packed that order it wasn't wrong". When I told her what WAS wrong with it she said, "well thats not what ticket said". I asked if there were problems with the speaker; I had repeated the order several times because it didn't seem like they could hear me. The girl on the phone then tells me, "well I don't think the person on the speaker hears every well, plus she's new". First of all, don't put people on drive thru if they can't hear, secondly don't put the new people on the busiest section during lunch rush. You're just asking for mistakes to be made. I was then told I would have to come up there right now to have things remedied. Sorry, can't leave work to fix YOUR mistakes. Besides, if the stuff they replace is as bad as the stuff that actually made it into my bag, I don't want it anyway. Fish was dry, hushpuppies were hard as rocks, and the potatoes that I ordered without gravy looked like a pre-made cup of potatoes w/gravy that someone had just scooped the gravy out of. Might be a good idea to get your employees up to speed, or at least teach them some customer skills. The owner of the chicken express on loop 288 right by taco casa seems to not put his customers first when orders are incomplete and wrong. When you order fresh chicken it means right out of the oil. The employees are too busy playing around instead of taking care of the customers on what they ask for. When I place my order I expect to get the exact things that I'm paying for not short on chicken. I ordered 3 piece chickens and paid for it and ended up getting 2 piece chickens. When I emailed the owner he took the side of his employees instead of the customer after they told me they would replace the food with a voucher for a later day instead he said scratched off the voucher that I took a picture of off my phone and told me he respected my opinion but respects his employees opinions more.
