We ordered two chiladas and two orders of super nachos at the drive through. The employee asked if we would like peppers to which I replied ānoā. We checked our order before leaving the parking lot of the restaurant only to find that in the box of fixings, meat, beans, etc., that there were no tomatoes and in their place huge piles of PEPPERS. We went back through the drive through and explained that our tomatoes had been replaced with peppers by mistake. The employee stated they were out of tomatoes, something that should have been mentioned when we originally ordered, but did not bother to explain why there were peppers when explicitly said no peppers. She stared at me blankly for a few seconds until I had to request the peppers be removed because the had gotten all over the other fixings.
My wife and I cannot eat peppers. In the past when they have mistakenly giveen us peppers they have been in a separate container and we just disregard them because they have not gotten on the other food.
The employee hands a new bag of fixings to us and again we check the bag before leaving the restaurant parking lot. This time there are no peppers in the fixings box, but we now have two separate containers of PEPPERS. We drive back through one more time and give them to the same employee we had been dealing with, I barely got a sorry, no offer to compensate us for our trouble.
At home we find that there is no meat in the chiladas, only a Hugh amount of thick pasty beans that taste like they are a few days old, same way with the enormous amount of beans in the nachos. Have contacted corporate about this location in the past but have never gotten a response. I am a registered super card hold and they claim they cannot scan my card, so no rewards. I have contacted corporate about this as well with no response. They other Denton location is no better. Taco Casa just does not care about...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI didn't know how to rate the atmosphere because I never have dined in, was in the drive-through, so I guess that's 5 stars immediately, because I didn't have to get out and walk! It's a fair price for the plate of nachos, which you can easily share with someone else and not get mad that you're still hungry afterwards. Chips seem to always be tough - not crispy or thick, just hard - and seem to taste over fried/extra toasty like they're goin' for a Fritos taste. Don't know if they cook them themselves perhaps too many at a time and store them in a big bag that they don't burp free of air as much as possible, or if they are fried in a factory somewhere and shipped to them and they just wait around too long too long before being used up.... But I digress..just tryin' to figure out why they're so hard.
ā” UpDaTe: I have dined in 3rd visit; it was quiet; few customers in & out and I watched TV. Chips were OK on the 3rd visit and were much better on the 4th visit which was a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf I could give them one stars I would. Came through the drive thru today. Ordered 1 combination burrito and 2 regular tacos. Got to the window the lady at the window took my card didnāt greet me or anything. So then a few seconds later another female not the one taking my order handed me a burrito on a plate like a dog kind of threw it at me like here you go. I was confused as to 1 why was I receiving my food like that no bag nothing just the burrito and 2 where was the rest of my food. The lady who took my order stood behind the lady who handed me my burrito all acting as if they wasnāt getting what I was saying. She even stated I was only told to give you a burrito. Seemed as if they didnāt want to give me all my food. The girl at the window seemed as if she was under the influence of something eyes super low and red. So I finally received my 2 tacos in a bag no napkins or hot...
