Beyond Pho & Boba — Restaurant in Denver

We were looking forward to trying this establishment after it was recommended to us. However, from the moment we walked in, we were met with unprofessional and dismissive behavior. While our group was in line ordering, I attempted to use the restroom, only to have an employee rush to close the door in my face, stating it was for customers only. While I completely understand this policy, it was unnecessary, as she could clearly see us in line.

After explaining that my partner was already ordering, she simply rolled her eyes and insisted I get in line before using the restroom. There was no apology, and her attitude remained rude throughout our visit. To make matters worse, I ordered a honey milk tea, which ended up tasting like water—completely lacking in flavor. This experience left a negative impression and did not reflect the welcoming service or quality...

This is hands down my favorite spot for vegetarian pho in Denver. The broth is so flavorful and comforting, it’s clear a lot of love goes into it. I’ve tried veggie pho at a lot of places around town, and the broth always tastes like an afterthought.

Also, the boba here is amazing. I’m picky about sweetness, and even when I ask for the lowest level at other places, it’s still way too sweet. But here, it’s perfectly balanced and not too sweet.

I’ve seen a few reviews mentioning slow service, but in my experience the staff has always been kind and attentive. It’s a small, family-run spot, and I personally don’t mind waiting.

One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had. A group of friends and I walked in, and while some of us were in the middle of ordering, an employee abruptly shut the restroom door in front of one of the women in our group and went inside—without saying a word. It felt like she assumed we weren’t going to buy anything. After we purchased our drinks and politely asked to use the restroom, she rolled her eyes and still never apologized.
