Absolutely delicious! Hands down some of the absolute best cupcakes I’ve ever had in Denver by far. I love that they use not overly sweet icing, the cake on all of the flavors and both sizes are perfect, and I LOVE that they don’t glob on heaps of icing either. Their ratio between cake and icing is perfect and I don’t have to scrape off half like I do at almost every single other cupcake shop I’ve ever been to. I noticed their icings have just the slightest hint of salt (not just the salted caramel chocolate one) that I find to balance out the sweetness of them all perfectly and not something I’ve really noticed others ever do.
I went in and got both the mini cupcakes and the regular sized ones. I got a variety of flavors and my favorites, in order, would have to be 1: Funfetti 2: Salted Caramel Chocolate 3:Strawberry Champagne 4:Snickerdoodle
I have not tried the regular chocolate or red velvet yet, but I still have them so I will! I did not get wedding cake, but it looked super good so I’m sure I’d love it. I’ll definitely be back. I got 15 mini cupcakes and 6 regular cupcakes and my total, after tax, was $52 and some change. Parking is a little weird, but that’s neither here nor there and doesn’t take any points away in my opinion. I got these for my son’s first bday, in lieu of a cake, and it worked out great! My older son, who is three, loved the mini cupcakes, and my in laws and boyfriend did too. I forgot to take pictures of all of them before we devoured the majority, but managed to get one of...
Read moreI ususally give a 1 if there is anything unethical or unsafe. I'm being kind. Not a review on food. Food was fine, maybe subdued. But it's a given in the industry that when you offer a price point for 'multiple,' that it's a discount bulk rate. I went in for 1 or 2 cupcakes, decided on 4 (not checking the math) since the menu priced it seperately. Only to find it's just the price of 4 single cupcakes. The reason why this is dishonest and coercion... is because when things are on the menu, they are 'items' offered. Menus do not offer what things will cost when added up. That's a given waste of space, and math people can easily do themselves. So they are liars imo. That's cheating imo. Manipulation. Industry abuse. I was actually struggling picking other flavors but figured I'd try what they have, so I only bought four because it was implied as discounted. A couple were kinda dry.
Reply to reply- Implication would not be explicitly written...would it? It's industry standard. (And if you're going to use umbrage in the same sentence structure as 'offense,' then just choose not to look like a floof...
Read moreDisappointing first time experience from this location to deliver to my boyfriend and his kids for Valentine's day. Missed half my order with the messaging. The thing is I paid almost $38 in Service charge, delivery charge, tip and another service charge out of the $114. They did refund the missing order and a small service charge fee, which still does not make up for poor experience and the other fees.
"Update (2/15)*: I received a call from today from the owner, Tiffany. She has clarified she tried to call yesterday to make things right but unfortunately my old number is tied to my online profile when I made a purchase. I am impressed that a day later she made further attempts to still reach out to me after locating my number from my calling yesterday to inquire about the partial missed delivery. It's rare these days to see owners of establishments make that extra effort by taking ownership, take pride in their work, and care about customers experiences. It was nice chatting with her. For that, I'll give it another try, and look forward to it. My boyfriend did say the macarons and...
