Read moreThis place is absolutely amazing! My husband was at Porter Hospital for a knee replacement and it was clear within a chat or two that his nurse was a big-time chocolate aficionado. That nurse was also just awesome and took such good care of my husband that I decided to get some chocolates for him and his colleagues.
I searched for chocolate shops close to the hospital and stumbled on Fev’co. I lived in France in high school and college, so when I saw the chocolatier is French, I was intrigued and knew I had to go there.
The chocolate is truly first class and Jeremy was so nice, personable, and helpful (I wasn’t smart enough to order correctly, which is another whole story). The hospital staff raved about the chocolates and said they were he best they’d ever had.
The hazelnut spread is also delicious and you know the ingredients are all fresh and unprocessed - I can taste such a difference from the store-bought nonsense!
These confections are pricey but I would rather pay for quality, and for that reason, I believe they are worth every penny. It’s clear that Jeremy takes pride in his work and uses only the best ingredients for a truly unparalleled final product. You won’t find chocolates like this anywhere else in Denver or perhaps even all of Colorado - they would be a wonderful gift for someone special or just for you to treat yo self!
The ordering process: I did not realize that Fev’Co is in an online orders only concept space. You can order online from their website or with Doordash. They also have a kiosk screen in the register area if you prefer that, though it’s a bit clunky because you have to sign in with Google, Facebook, or Apple, if I recall correctly, which involves typing in your password and all that jazz. You can also just order on your phone right when you get there. Thankfully, Steve at the front desk was super helpful and patient as he explained the process to me, and Jeremy came out to check in on my order as well. Excellent customer...
Read moreMy wife and I discovered this shop through social media accounts and beaming reviews couple weeks ago. We are from Colorado Springs and made the drive to Denver to try this place as we both love French pastry. unfortunately this was a disappointing experience. not only was the stock quite limited, it was absurdly expensive. regardless, we purchased a paris brest to share. the choux was stale and tasted days old, the praline mousseline would've been delightful if it had not been so overwhelmingly sweet, leaving the pastry completely devoid of any flavor or depth, it was just sweet, way too sweet. we thought the hazelnut garnish was a nice touch, but combined with the lacking choux and cream, the entire pastry reminisced of a $10 Ferraro Rocher candy. to be clear, price is of no concern if the pastry delivered on quality, however, it did not. don't think we'd recommend this place to anyone. Now, they are sending us messages about how we hurt small business. How about this small business claiming that they are really good and hurting our pocket? And also, if we can’t share our true feelings and opinions, why we have review system on internet? Do we have to share only good reviews? My wife felt bad and deleted her review from yelp, but I am putting here to share only our experiences. Other people might love tgis place, no judgement but this was our...
