Four Seasons Hotel Denver — Restaurant in Denver

DON'T STAY HERE WITH GROUP RATE WITH SMALL KIDS IN ROOM: Hotel is beautiful and amenities are nice. 2 star rating comes from room assignment. We had reserved six months in advance for a family wedding. We requested two beds as we had our 8 and 10 year olds with us. Upon check-in, we learned that we could not get a two bed room (only one king bed) because of a Phish concert nearby and they all booked online for two beds and aid more than we did so they had preference. I had called the hotel and modified my reservations (had a second room for my 25 year old and his girlfriend) earlier in the week and the hotel failed to mention the availability issue. I could have had a free suite close by using Marriott or Hilton points but cancelled other reservations to be near family. The front desk woman was rude about all of it. She thought she was being nice by saying "and we will comp a rollaway bed"

I later spoke with a manager and he realized how well I understand the industry and what they did. He said he was sorry and then upon conclusion of our discussion, he says "but you weren't bumped." This was an absolute lie. Call it bumping or outranked or giving preference to higher fees, whatever, we were given inferior accommodations due to people that booked months later because they paid more (we had a group rate). I do not like lies and he manager was foolish for doing this. After staying calm, this ridiculous comment infuriated me. Later after getting back to my room, he texts me and says he never got a chance to tell me he had a new room! I had been with him for 10 minutes and he never mentioned that. By the time I saw his message, it was too late to move as we were in process of getting ready for family event.

To add insult to injury, they charged us for the rollaway. So we were offered NOTHING for our inconvenience and instead charged for ME to sleep on a rollaway. Not what I expected from a Four Seasons. I travel weekly and have not seen the poor service, manager misrepresentations and lack of effort to give anything for our hassles (maybe a free drink to calm us down?). I later learned many family members had similarly bad experience. Some with four adult kids sharing a room. Where do you put them?

I expect a response from the hotel to say the room type is not guaranteed, which is true. Keep in mind that when we checked in there were two beds available (checked in before 1 pm), they just were saving for more important people going to a concert vs a consulting partner traveling with kids for a family wedding. Room type is almost NEVER guaranteed. But in all my years and thousands of hotel room nights, I NEVER failed to get two beds when requested. This is not acceptable when traveling...

We were here at the spa for a couples retreat. It included two 50 minute massages, access to their spa and pool areas, and dinner for two in The Edge restaurant. The massages were pretty good, and we both felt that the therapists did what they could to work out our problem areas. We enjoyed our time by the pool, and thought it was cool that they had a towel and robe warming closet next to the hot tub. The food and drink menus are pretty blah, especially if you're a vegetarian. We ordered the kid's grilled cheese with french fries and it was exactly what we thought it would be, so that was fine. The indoor spa areas weren't huge, but seemed to work because they don't get a ton of visitors all at once. Everything was clean and orderly, and they had all the products I needed to clean up and get ready for going out afterwards. They stamped our valet ticket in the spa and in the restaurant, which brought our valet cost to nothing (except tip). Dinner was good, but again the vegetarian options aren't that great. They were kind enough to leave out the pork in the spaetzle with Gorgonzola sauce (the peas were undercooked and crunchy, sadly) and they had some steakhouse mushrooms that were pretty tasty. The risotto (their default vegetarian dish) was really bland and the heirloom tomatoes would have tasted better if they weren't so cold and had some salt on them. Sadly, the burrata was so flavorless that it lost all importance in the dish. The lamb chops were tasty, but overly fatty, meaning I left several chunks of inedible fat on the plate. I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Four Seasons Denver and it was an absolutely incredible experience. From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the hotel's stunning decor. The lobby is beautifully designed with high ceilings and chic furniture, creating a truly luxurious atmosphere.

But it wasn't just the hotel's appearance that impressed me – it was the staff that truly made my stay unforgettable. From the front desk staff to the housekeeping team, every single employee I encountered was friendly, helpful and went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable. They always had a smile on their faces and were more than happy to assist with any requests or needs I had.

One of the highlights of my stay was definitely the hotel's dining options. The menu at the on-site restaurant was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. Whether I was in the mood for a quick breakfast on the go or a sit-down dinner with friends, the hotel's dining options had me covered.

But the real standout was the hotel's relaxation offerings. The spa was absolutely top-notch, with a variety of treatments available to help me unwind and recharge. The fitness center was also well-equipped and the outdoor pool was a great place to relax on a warm day.

Overall, my stay at the Four Seasons Denver was an absolute dream. The staff, menu, decor and relaxation offerings were all top-notch and I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
