I went in for lunch today and immediately noticed a difference in how I was treated compared to other customers. I wasn’t greeted like everyone else who walked in. The employee wearing a tan beanie asked if I was going to place an order. I said yes, and he told me it would be a 20-minute wait because they didn’t have any bread ready. I told him I was fine with waiting, but he seemed visibly annoyed. He silently took my order in a way that felt dismissive and unwelcoming.
Despite being told it would take 20 minutes, my order came out much faster—but the sandwiches didn’t taste fresh. The bread was hard, and the Country Club sandwich was missing both the ham and the cheese. When I brought it up to the two employees—one with curly hair and the one with the beanie—they argued with me. They insisted the sandwich had ham and claimed the cheese was hidden between the turkey slices. I checked right in front of them—it clearly wasn’t there.

Read moreI worked at this place back in November 2021. I worked from November 2020-November 2021. I went through hell most days, was told to figure it out myself when staff didn’t show up, worked a lot of 12 hour days because no night manager had shown up. I told them I was exposed to Covid by one of their employees and the area manager at the time had told me she was sure I was fine and that it was probably the flu. 3 hours later I went and got a Covid test and it came back possible twice. Management only gets worse and worse. I can see from the recent reviews nothing has changed. GH food groups is by far the worst franchise. I would never work for them again even if it was my only option. I’d rather be homeless then work for this franchise. Treat your workers better, treat them like they are human. I wouldn’t be surprised if this store ends up closing since nothing has changed in the past year.
