I lived in Argentina for a short while (around 20 months) and fell in love with everything about the country. Whenever I am missing it a little extra, I come to Lazo’s. They have delicious empanadas and alfajores that taste like the ones I had in Buenos Aires (although they are not quite the same as the ones I ate compulsively in Misiones). It is lovely to me how they have grown and prospered, adding more items to the menu and bringing the closest thing to authentic argentine food I have had in the US to Denver. They also serve coffee, dessert, beer, wine, salads & more. Lazo's is the perfect spot for that light, small quick bite, and very satisfying.
Overall, we had a great experience at...
