McDonald's — Restaurant in Denver

I just had a nightmare experience trying to expediently place and pick up an order at this particular McDonald’s. It was 1:30 in the afternoon and I decided I would try to expedite getting my meal by downloading the McDonald’s app. I ordered online and then drove to the restaurant With the understanding that someone would bring my order out to me. I parked in one of the pick up spots enter the number of the pick up spot and then waited. No one appeared with my order so I went back to the app and noticed that it said I hadn’t enteredthe pick up spot number. A thunderstorm was moving in so I reluctantly got out of my car and walked to the entrance. There is no weight staff at the counter. There are several bagged meals waiting for pick up, but no one to talk to. Finally someone with no customer service skills whatsoever asked me what my order number is. Just FYI after you place your Order on the app you no longer have access to your order number– –. But between the app and this particular McDonald’s, there is no synchronization. Worse yet customer service at this McDonald’s is nonexistent, which to me indicates the restaurant is poorly managed. I described my order only to be told it had not been completely assembled yet. This restaurant has no business calling itself fast food because by now, I had placed the order 15 to 20 minutes ago. Finally, my order was located and completed. • PLEASE READ | IMPORTANT * I do doordash as a side hustle, besides my regular full-time job. I got a pickup order this evening from this McDonald's location. Upon pulling up at the drive through, the elderly lady greeted me with a slightly rude demeanor. I heard extreme smugness and arrogance from the lady. When I called her out, her insecurity lead her to say 'Do you think I'm dumb? I'm sorry you hate your job but I love mine'. I've done about 500 deliveries until today, nobody treats their delivery drivers like she does.

I am apologetic to all my fellow Uber eats/doordash delivery drivers for the unprofessionalism of the elderly lady, if you ever engage with her. She needs a customer service re-training from corporate, which I soon will be filing a complaint on.

I rarely write any negative reviews, or talk bad about a respectable elderly American worker, working her way through the weekend. I have massive respect for that.
