Metropolis Coffee — Restaurant in Denver

Husband and I have been trying small batch coffee shops all over the Denver Metro and wherever we travel. Today’s adventure was Metropolis Coffee. Generally we get vanilla lattes so we can compare fairly. Husband is currently enjoying his latte but I’m absolutely delighting in a delicious oat milk vanilla chai. Ohemgee it’s yum! Metropolis shares space with AVA apts 5 days/wk so it’s quite a large space. We got our cups to go because there was no room to sit but then we went and sat by the fireplace on the other side. I highly recommend you don’t put a table right next to the bathroom door. I was trying to work here and the only table open was next to the bathroom. People were constantly coming in and out of the bathroom. I was trying to enjoy my coffee and eat breakfast but every time the bathroom door opened and closed the fumes of the bathroom were wafting directly in my face. Which was really gross especially when you are trying to eat. The door is loud and slams and creates a gust of bathroom air wind. Not very sanitary to be eating here. I’m not sure who thought it was a good idea to put a table there but maybe do away with it...
