This was hands down the worst costumer service experience I’ve ever had. Ever. I’m not being dramatic. I work in the industry and have for the last 20 years. I especially work in quick service and know how hard it is to operate a model of great service with a quick food approach. This experience, tonight at MOD pizza, was an absolute abomination. The restaurant was booming with people as it’s Friday night and MOD is open till 10. I counted 11 people working and not a single one of them was actually interested in helping any of the people coming in to buy pizza. They were actively unhappy to be working but pleased to speak and joke around and be present with each other, but when it came to helping people there was nothing but no communication, no eye contact, or even bother to ask if anyone wanted to add anything or wanted anything else. Actually I started the conversation and asked how they were for the night. This place actually blew my mind tonight with shame for whoever runs it. And how sad that they’ve left this many privileged, entitled, teenagers to run their business on such a high impact night. There was huge food safety issue with people touching everything including their hair and scratching their head and then handling food with their bare hands. This place rocked my world tonight and not in a good way. Disappointing for the leaders of this company. Disappointing for the leader of the restaurant… and frankly disappointing for every single person trying to spend money at this location. This was...
Read morePizza tastes good IF made properly. Have been to this location 3 times in person and each time I have to repeat the ingredients or else they will skip over or forget things. Today, they dropped my pizza on the floor TWICE. I get it, the first one was an oooops and I waited 6 minutes for another. But it was dropped again, extra care was not taken. No refund was issued, just a pizza voucher - I had to leave and could not take another 6/10 minutes for another pizza.
My rating and suggestions are for the management team. Please do not put 4/5 workers on the pizza line. There is miscommunication and I have to talk to 4/5 people to get my pizza down the line. Maybe as a suggestion, each person handles from start to finish but have multiple people do that.
Also based on my experience and other reviews, please compensate pizza when not done properly or timely… looks like it’s a repeating issue. This place can be great!
Just seemed like unorganized chaos and it was like that all 3 times but this final one was the topping.
Lastly, it’s 2021 and please wear gloves or wash hands. The station where the pizza was finished and handed did not wear gloves and was touching items around the cash register before going back to pizza.
I guess I will be back for the pizza voucher… which I paid for…. Hoping you all make improvements and I’ll update...
Read moreI have been to many MOD Pizza and always had no problems/complaints until now. This is by far the only and worst MOD pizza I ever been. Got there and they was a line. Workers are talking to each others and slowly helping. Then one guy went to lock the doors (at 7:15pm) when the store is supposed to be open until 9pm. You could see them arguing between them because they were no more cheese. Then the black girl to yell at us on the line " you guys need to stop letting people in" like we work there. Next, a few customers arrived using the other door, and that same black girl to tell them that they are too busy at the moment so they are not taking anymore customers. Are you kidding me??? This is the first time ever I have been to a restaurant where because they were busy, decided to tell customers not to come inside and that the restaurant was not accepting anymore customers. I'm shocked, baffled and upset for those customers who were told not to come in. You guys should be happy to be that busy. This is insane. Whoever was the manager that day should be retrained. They are dirty food all over the floor while they are serving customers. If this specific restaurant is understaffed, then as a company you failed also. But marketing 101, you nerver asked customers not to come in because you are too...
