I love noodles & company, but it will take A LOT to get me back in this location. I placed an online lunch order last week. Received the confirmation email with a pick up time of 12:03. By the time I was able to get over there it was probably 12:10. Not only was my order not ready when I got there. They allegedly had NO RECORD of my order at all. I show them my confirmation email, and nothing.Jose-the employee "helping" me still says no record, my order doesn't exist, So skip ahead another 5 minutes or so and Jose asks what I ordered.. I tell him every line item and tell him it should total $16.47. It does! And then he asks me to pay again in store. So wait.. I've already PAID you $16.47 for a damn bowl of noodles a cookie and some freakin cheesy bread. And YOU can't find my order... and now you want me to pay for it AGAIN to get my food? Jose says "you weren't charged" so I pull up my bank info right there in store, guess who was charged?? Yup.. me. "Oh no no it's pending, that won't go through because we don't have your order" okay so can I get a phone number or something to make SURE the charge doesn't go through? "It didn't go through" whatever.. I'll figure it out on my own. "So you don't want the order?" Not if I have to pay for it again! Im not paying you twice for my damn food. "Well the order was cancelled" which order was cancelled? "Your online order was cancelled" (he prints out a receipt showing an online order-my order- was voided) So my friend chimes in "how can the order be cancelled if you have no record of the order?" "It was cancelled you won't be charged" so I say just forget it. "So you don't want to order?" No. No I don't because I already ordered, I have already been charged, and you have now wasted my whole lunch break. So I leave with no food and down $16.47. I left feedback for the company thru the order confirmation email and requested to be contacted- no one did. And... AND-icing on the cake!!- They STILL CHARGED ME $16.47!!! The charge went through!! Absolutely the WORST experience I have ever had. I've done customer service my entire career and this company had gone above and beyond to show that their customer service is NONEXISTENT. Didn't offer a discount, didn't offer to correct the issue... I couldn't even get an email or call back from management... NOTHING. Literally took my money and left me with no lunch. I DO NOT recommend this location. And I STILL want to be contacted by someone with half a clue from this...
Read moreI recently dined at this fine Noodles establishment before the dinner rush was started. I have a mixed perception of Noodle's place in the fast casual dining industry. On one hand, I hold a great deal of respect for them because they expose to peoples' mouths a wide variety of different cuisines, albeit at the caliber you'd expect for a nationwide fast casual franchise. Compromises must be made in quality, which was of course present during my experience. I got the pesto cavatappi, which isn't really that exciting in terms of cuisine, but it's a reliable choice across the board. I was served quickly (I was picking up to go), and drove probably like 2 minutes to a park nearby to eat there. My food was warm, not super hot, which was fine. Not an issue with me, but if it is for someone else that's something to consider. However the pasta was kind of chewy. A little dense. It really seemed like they could have waved away their negligence during the cooking process as 'al dente' when really there was just a lack of oversight in the kitchen. I only bring this up because I figured I wouldn't have had to worry about rush hour mistakes at the time I ordered, because I was ordering safely after the lunch rush and comfortably before the dinner rush. This minor inconvenience did not, however, sully my overall satisfaction with the Noodles or its food. I'd definitely recommend this establishment to someone who wants to eat at a place a little above the standard of fast food, but it does come at a cost, both financially (prices are higher but reasonable) and in terms of wait time (again very reasonable). The people were respectful and generally neutral in terms of disposition. 4 stars. I can and will...
Read moreMy first impression on the appearance is positive: it is covered in melted cheese. There is a faint smell of noodles and cheese but nothing too strong. After mixing everything around the scent is much stronger. There are no new scents but it become a lot stronger. The color is consistent throughout the bowl now. Because this is a meal i have had many times the appearance of it makes my brain already have a idea on the taste. After tasting the dominant flavor is definitely cheese, if i had to guess probably mostly cheddar. Using retro nasal to smell it created a different scent. The scent is closer to the taste rather than the original scent. The texture is mostly soft, the noodles are very loose and soft but the melted cheese adds structure and helps hold the noodles together. The cheese is the dominant flavor. The taste is the noodles is apparent but not very strong. There is definitely more than one cheese but cheddar is the one that i taste the most. Other flavors i get from this are pepper and butter. I’m not sure if there are more ingredients but these are the only flavors that i notice. The temperature is slightly warm...
