This place has a mouse problem. Me and my friend saw mice multiple times after we ate our food. We were there around 8pm. I mentioned it to the waitress and she said they know and have a name for him. Didn't mention the establishment doing anything to try to get rid of them, didn't try to comp our meals (which were mediocre and I thought I was going to throw it all up after knowing mice live in the restaurant and im sure are in the kitchen). I like mice, im okay with being around mice, but it's completely unsanitary to have them running around someplace that sells food. There's a reason animals/pets aren't allowed in restaurants. Rats and mice can spread sickness and all sorts of bacteria.

Besides that, my food was only okay. I ordered the cesar salad and the croutons it came with were black in areas, i dont know if it was the brand or if they were moldy. After seeing the mice, I started leaning more toward the idea of them serving me bad food. The waitress never checked on us. I finished my drink not long after getting it and it was never refilled so I ended up eating my food while thirsty. I will never come back here and would never tell anyone to come here either. Unless you want to be eating with rodents, probably stay away from here.

Reply to owner: You DO have a mouse problem, both me and my friend saw a mouse multiple times and your waitress confirmed that not only do you HAVE a mouse problem, but you also KNOW about it. The least you can do is be an honest person. If you dont know about it, your staff certainly does and im sure they can fill you in on why my experience in your restaurant was disgusting and why your response was dishonest and saddening. Do better for your future customers. You shouldn't be serving food to customers in a mouse...

I had high hopes but, those hopes were quickly relegated to nothing short of ordinary. The whiskey list was immense and thorough, but without adequate description or sorting, and in the face of covid, it left my decision to be a shot in the dark. I asked for assistance in a very specific selection opportunity, which the waitress thought could be addressed, but after a delay returned and stated that there are tooo many for someone to help with that inquiry. (sherry cask finished Irish was what I looked for). The menus being in laminate and holding residue from previous guests were also disappointing. That's not the only thing holding the evidence of previous use. My glass, that was intended to hold a $22 single ounce of whiskey, had lipstick marks in two places. If you are an establishment that carries $500 drams of rare whiskey, I'd imagine that a wiping cloth after a commercial dishwasher wouldn't be out of your budget. Speaking of price, if you are a connoisseur you will find a few rarities that suit a refined palet. The price on the other hand reflect the plane airfare it took to personally fly to the UK 🇬🇧 for the bottle. It's 1pm in the afternoon and not a dinner rush. There is no reason for any of this to be an issue. The ploughmans lunch adding smoked turkey, may not be best provided with your average cold cut from the grocery store either. Charcuterie isn't a $15 appetizer because of it's title. It's because of the ingredients which left a bit to be desired. All together I wouldn't suggest it to anyone looking for anything but UK pub ambiance with NY prices. My server (not the bar staff) was wonderfully polite though. Kudos to you whoever you were without...

Many negative reviews on here, but mine shall not be one of them. Upon first impression, the outside is very British. Walking up the short steps to receive the food I had ordered for lunch, I entered the door into a quaint, quiet, but pleasing atmosphere. It was then that I approached the counter. I wasn't there long before the barkeep approached and asked if I was "The one who ordered the lamb stew." I said cheerily, yes, and he said it wasn't quite ready yet, and I was early. He said, "Here have a water, hydration is important, as you know out there on your bike." When he went behind into the kitchen was when I noticed the absolutely astounding array of liquor alone, then I noticed the majority of it was all Single Malt Scotch!!!! Oh how excited I was to see Balvenie 12,14,15,17 Yr old, and Carribbean cask, and that is just one brand!! Next, the food. It came in a white bag, and I paid, tipped, and left (the barkeep almost forgot to charge me lol). Arriving back at my work desk, I dug in. The soup came in a solo coffee cup (large) with a lid, a traditional hard large biscuit, and salad with Bleu Cheese (I chose that). Mannnn, even the dressing was good!! The lamb stew I ordered was super traditional, thick meat and potatoes - Awesome. Unfortunately this was just a lunch experience, and that's the reason for my four stars. I will soon go back to try some excellent whiskey, and in-house conditioned traditional cask-style ale! If you are looking for a slightly more quiet, ma-and-pa style place, with excellent and unique selection, this is...

Great place, marred by some soured/off beers on the cask pump. 21 aug23 Knowledgeable and pleasant waitress and bartender/brewer. Great vibe and decor inside, though it doesn't look like much outside. I got the London broil, it was very good. Came with a nice salad. Thought it was a great price for $17.50 for what I got! This was my 2nd visit. The cask IPA was sour and not good. The nitro ESB had a funny flavor to me, but was ok. Might have been I'm not used to ESB on nitro. The Airedale Pale Ale, carbonated, was quite good. Similar to Bass Ale, and actually quite a good copy. Was here once before during 2020 covid, all the beers I tried were off and sour with brettanomyces. That was both cask ales and a bitter. Decided to give a pass due to low customer demand and trying to keep business afloat. Owner?/brewer was a nice guy. After reading a review 3 weeks old on sour casks, and visiting twice, I feel like they need to completely sterilize their cask system...handpumped seems infected and sour. Seems like a persistent infection, a shame after all the work this guy is putting in. I appreciate his effort and will continue to visit, but will have to enjoy his other beers instead of my #1 target. I basically visit English pubs in every city I visit, and search for cask ale i.e. hand-pumped bitter, pale, or IPA. About 4 cities a week, and lived in Suffolk UK for 4 years.

One of my favorite pubs/breweries of all time! Up until now, I have been to this beautiful place more than a dozen times, especially for their amazing happy hour. The atmosphere is perfect and unmatched. There is even a second floor! With the fantastic decor and music, it genuinely feels like a traditional British/Scottish pub, especially with the authentic dishes and quality pints. Sometimes I just come here during the day and just read Shakespeare because the vibe is absolutely divine. Especially with COVID, I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to “escape” to a new world in these times. I learn something new every time I go here. I brought my date here, and the server was truly amazing to us. Service was 10/10. He even gave us a mini-tour of the brewery with fun trivia on the establishment. Who would’ve guessed this place has the most extensive assortment of whiskeys in the country?! I am in love with this place, and more people should know about it! Everything from the food, interior/exterior design, alcohol selection, music, atmosphere, cleanliness, and service, one could not go wrong with Pints Pub. Every time I go, it is never busy, which is a virtue during COVID, but an absolute shame for the folks who are missing out. Truly a hidden gem of Downtown Denver. (I have to this place like a dozen times in the last 12 months)

Ok so first the positives. The servers are very nice outgoing and do a good job. The in house ales are traditionally brewed in style and strength with most being good with some bordering on very good. With a nice couple of hand pulls or beer engines as they are called stateside. The single malt collection is spectacular and a surprising turn up for the books. What I would change as a Brit and a business owner. Update the website. Prices menus and style are all years out of date. Tell people you have the best collection of single malts outside of Scotland. It’s your secret weapon! Update the menu. British pubs have not had this type of food for 30 years. British gastro pub style has come a long way since the 80’s get the USA owner to travel to the UK to school himself. Deep clean and new decor. Sticky carpets and tables are not endearing. “Time to lean time to clean”! That includes the kitchen. On the whole the staff are doing a great job but with one hand tied behind their backs by the owners lack or attention to detail and duty of care.
