ZEPS EPIQ Sandwiches — Restaurant in Denver

Zeps Epiq Sandwiches are amazing.

I ordered for a smaller film shoot, one box of mixed sandwiches that ranged from vegetarian, turkey's, full on meats with the BEST ITALIAN sandwich i have had in a while (did i taste a mix of hot peppers? YUM). And the bread from Blue Point is soft and sturdy for a packed sandwich. We also ordered 3 salads which we shared some and had some for GF folks. Zeps makes house dressing for the salads and they were delicious - the salads come with proteins which we had on the side since we were feeding a range of folks with differing needs and tastes. Then there are the chips, you might have to pay attention or look closely to the online menu but these are not prepackaged chips they are fried on the spot and then they have their own spice/flavor mixes to flavor the chips - the chips were HOT and a bonus to a great meal. I believe we ordered the Bacon cheese chilies and the Cajun. These are a must. We didn't even scratch what they have on the menu.

If you are looking for courtesy breakfast, lunch or that third meal for the film production day Zeps can pull it off and can be quick, healthy, tasty. They have been doing production meals and have an amazing staff and owner that can...

Zeps has been on my radar for a while now, and for one reason or another have just not stopped in....well, that changed today.

Wanting a good sandwich I got out my list of "wanto to go" restaurants and decided on a nice walk to Zeps.

So glad we did. First it took a while looking at the menu as lots of things sounding good! We talked to the nice cashier, and she gave us her top 3 favorites, and brought us a small taste of the green chile.

We decided in the Breckenridge Bourbon Dip, a bowl or green chile and an order of original potato chips.

All 3 were excellent choices, but I'll be honest....the chips were the BEST! I'd like to try other chip flavors next time!

The soup was tasty and really temperature hot, as well as a nice bit of spicy hot. They have 3 or 4 "dip" sandwiches on the menu....I'd love to see a cool sandwich with the "dip" as the green chile!!!

The sandwich we ordered was basically a cross between a cheesesteak and a French dip. Nice and meaty, lots of mushrooms and onions, a bunch of cheese and great bread.

Overall, we thought Zeps was a quality place for food sandwiches and...

I feel taken advantage of and a bit robbed 😐.

We had ordered chips and a sandwich. The person who brought the food kind of ran off when I brought to their attention the chips were missing. He didn't say anything. We asked if we did order chips after finishing half the sandwiches. He said yes they were cooking. We finished the sandwiches and waited approx 5 more minutes. I requested the chips were returned due to I didn't want to continue dinner.

When he agreed the tip showed up. Somehow the tip had increased 2.70 cents. Honestly it feels like the gentleman increased it himself. When I brought it up he ignored me. I brought it up again and he said there's nothing he could do. As he refunded the chips on the open transaction. Ah I see I didn't ask for a receipt and you add extra tip. Then you got caught. I expect a refund for the $2.70 and a call from the manager about this situation. I will for sure not be ordering anymore lunches from zeps at any more work functions.
