We've been here twice now, the first time we stopped in because I DESPERATELY had to pee, so we kind of found it by accident and were so pleased by how cozy it is and how nice the people were, and also that everything on their menu sounded fun!
So naturally when my wine loving parents came in to town today, I had to make it part of the entertainment plan. We came in for wine and dessert after getting sushi across the street, which was a great plan.
My boyfriend and I got the bubbles flights, my mom got a rosé flight and Dad got a glass of rosé, all of which were wonderful! We also got the Oreo flight which was a hilarious highlight (sour patch kid flavor? Ones with pop rocks?!? Churro ones? SIGN ME UP!!!)
The same folks were working as the first time (I suspect they are the owners) and were just the sweetest human beings. They made us feel so at home and cozy and we all had a lovely time.
10/10, I will be dragging my bubbles loving bestie back there with...
Read moreI honestly can’t believe I haven’t reviewed RFF until now. This is my most recommended spot in Denver because I love it so much. Heather, Michael, and their staff are all literally so awesome. This place is quirky and wonderful and all things you’d want in a little, local wine bar. The wine selection is fantastic, the food is more of a snacky vibe but still great, and the atmosphere and family-like welcome every time I enter make RFF my favorite place; plus, the location is cool! RFF quickly became a spot that I frequent, and I even rented out the entire bar for my birthday and have never had a better time! Heather and Michael offer karaoke and trivia on select nights, too, and they have games, an outdoor patio, and a life-size cutout of Buddy the Elf. What more could you ask for?! 10/10 will always recommend Room for Friends!! You won’t be disappointed if...
Read moreWe stopped into this place on a rainy day while vacationing in Denver and the owner, Heather, instantly made us feel right at home. We got one of the wine flights, and Heather was very knowledgeable about every wine, and we learned a lot about wines from regions we had never tried before. The offerings were very diverse, and included wines from places such as Hungary, Italy, Austria, and more. Also, there was a really nice Pinot Noir from Willamette Valley that I had to order a second glass of.
The friendly and insightful talks with Heather only complimented the coziness of the place, which has plenty of couches, and games to play, basically it was the perfect place to spend a rainy afternoon.
Order the crudités, as the homemade ranch dip is one of the best ever. If you're really nice, you can try asking for the...
