While visiting Denver, we stumbled upon Savageau Coffee and Ice Cream and it turned out to be such a wonderful surprise. The shop was a little hard to find because of major street construction, but a kind neighbor pointed us to the back entrance. Once inside, we were warmly welcomed by the owner, Sean Moore, who took the time to chat with us and made us feel right at home.
The coffee was excellent—truly better than Starbucks—and the food was top notch as well. We enjoyed it so much that we came back every morning during our four-day stay in Denver. To top it off, their staff is very personable and welcoming. This is a great spot to treat yourself after a walk or bike ride around City Park. There’s also plenty of parking if you’re out and about by car.

Read moreThis little shop on Colfax is an absolute hidden gem! The construction on Colfax right now really tucks it away - but it’s WELL worth the stop. Such a cute and warm environment - perfect for a chill coffee with a friend, or even popping in to do some work (with free wifi and power strips!)
DELICIOUS pastries, and they also have other food stuffs like breakfast burritos, ice cream and oatmeal! Dog treats available too - which my husky LOVED.
