I will start by saying that I totally understand many restaurants are understaffed and doing the best they can. However, there are things you can do to mitigate customer's bad experiences. I am a Dasher and was picking up a door dash order. The app said to go inside and pick it up. The doors were locked and there was a sign saying drive through only. The only problem was the drive through line was wrapped around the building to the street. Probably 20+ minutes long. Dashers don't get paid wait times. So I knocked on the door and held up my door dash bag. The manager shrugged her shoulders at me and turned around. I saw an employee bringing a mobile order out to someone's car (which was apparently okay, but door dash pickups weren't?) And the kind employee let me in after I explained that it wasn't fair to make delivery people wait in a 20+ minute line for pickup. They should at least let us in to pick up delivery food even if the dining room was closed. The manager however was very rude and not understanding at all. She told me I wasn't allowed to be in there and that I had to wait in the drive thru. I told her no and that they should not make delivery people wait because we don't get paid to wait. She said I didn't have to accept the order. Well you don't know the situation until after you accept the order and you get dinged if you unassign orders after you accept them. She also said they were understaffed because 3 people called out. I told her to turn off door dash because given the WILDLY long drive thru line they couldn't handle the orders. She continued to be rude to me and ignored me basically while blaming me instead of taking responsibility for her poor management. The staff was so understanding and helped me get my order while the manager continued to be nasty to me and told me I didn't have to come back, to which I told her I wouldn't. I hope she doesn't treat her amazing employees this way. I was told by other dashers I met later in the night that this Wendy's routinely shuts the dining room and tries to make delivery people wait 20-30 minutes in the drive thru line for pickup. That is just not right or fair to delivery people who are paid per delivery not...
Read moreJust now during the night shift, some absolute degenerate employee (long black hair, facial hair, glasses, latin male named Jeremy) messed up our order and evidently did not charge us (which we did not know). When we got home, we realized that two of our burgers had nothing except for meat and cheese on them, so my partner took them back to request for new ones to be made. The same employee said that they were out of everything and that's why they came out like that. So my partner asked for a refund and the guy refused to give a refund. This is obviously illegal, and then the guy just stopped responding to the drive through altogether. So my partner rolled up to the window and whatever manager was working helped him and made the burgers correct, so this other employee apparently lied to us. Then he tried to act like we stole food and he said that he took a picture of our license plate, when he messed up the charge in the first place?? My partner asked for his name and I heard him through the phone picking a fight (just so unprofessional) saying "you don't need to know my name! You could have gotten free food if you hadn't come back!" Like what?? We're not trying to get free food, and definitely not a bad attitude, we just wanted our food made right! Needless to say this has activated Karen mode in me, so I'll be going in to talk to someone and escalate this...
Read moreGrossly unsanitary and very long waits. If you're in the area I suggest literally any other fast food joint on Wadsworth.
I live next to this Wendy's and go here a lot although I don't really know why. I use to work at a Wendy's as a teenager and honestly dig their food. No complaints there. However this location is so bad I really don't get how they constantly have a drive thru line that leaks out onto Bellview.
Tonight my lady picked me up a large meal and a 6 piece nugget. I got a large meal but they skimped on the fries big time. No big deal. Dumped my nuggets out and im a nugget short. Again no big deal. I sip my coke and I swear I'm not big on complaints but my drink tasted like a mixture of every drink in the machine when its supposed to be coke. Tells me they hardly clean their lines or their nozzles on the soda machines. Even a 10k lunch rush wouldn't leave the machine that gross. Thats days if not weeks of letting it go. All these things I was able to live with without writing a review. The final straw was when I went to eat my fries I grabbed a small ball hair with them! A wad of long blonde hair. Absolutely wild. Again I dont have high standards and I'm pretty easy going but I've had a lot of bad experiences here. This was the last one. Not that it matters but I will dead a** drive to the next closest Wendy's next time I want a spicy...
