I’ve ordered from here three times. The first time, the food was good, but takeout took over 30 minutes, while only two people were dining in. The second time, I called ahead, but when I arrived, they seemed to have forgotten my order and only started making it after I got there. Today was the worst. My lomo saltado tasted like the beef wasn’t fresh at all. It came in small dried pieces, definitely not steak, and was completely tasteless. I’m disappointed because I really wanted to like this place, but the quality and service keep getting worse. And just because not everyone who eats here speaks Spanish doesn’t mean customers should be treated differently.

I ordered 3 Menu items for delivery with french fries and you guys are just going to dump a few fries in A BROWN PAPER BAG like if i was a dog!!?? Really? You guys gave me 8 fries!! Lately the service and food have been declining here rapidly. My Company have been ordering from you guys for a few years now but yesterday was the worst! Come on Management get it together Please and no MORE BROWN PAPER BAGS FOR FOOD!

Recientemente tuve la oportunidad de visitar La Kaleta 28, un restaurante peruano que desde el primer momento destacó por su cálida atención y excelencia gastronómica. Desde el inicio, nuestra experiencia fue excepcional gracias a Katy, nuestra mesera, quien no solo fue increíblemente amable y atenta, sino que también demostró un profundo conocimiento del menú. Katy nos sorprendió con sugerencias únicas, incluso recomendándonos platos que no estaban en el menú, como los deliciosos tallarines verdes, que resultaron ser un verdadero deleite para el paladar.

Otro detalle que nos encantó fue la atención personalizada del chef principal, Margo, quien se tomó el tiempo de salir de la cocina para asegurarse de que cada plato cumpliera con nuestras expectativas. Este gesto habla mucho del compromiso del equipo de La Kaleta 28 con la calidad y la satisfacción de sus clientes. Además, Margo no solo aceptó comentarios, sino que también nos invitó a compartir sugerencias para seguir mejorando, algo que pocas veces se ve en la industria.

En cuanto a los platos, cada uno estaba perfectamente preparado, con sabores auténticos y presentaciones impecables. Es evidente que en La Kaleta 28 se toma en serio la tradición y el arte de la cocina peruana.

Recomiendo este lugar a cualquier amante de la gastronomía que busque una experiencia auténtica, con un servicio excepcional y un ambiente acogedor. Katy y Margo hicieron de nuestra visita algo memorable, y sin duda, volveremos pronto para probar más de lo que este maravilloso restaurante tiene para ofrecer.
