Friends and I were trying to find a late meal and this was right across the street from where we played monster mini golf. It's a cute little restaurant right next to the self storage and if you don't pay attention, you'll pass right by it. Service started out with house made chips and salsa that were delicious. Not sure what they put in it but there was nice rounded flavor. Our table orders a steak torta, beef fajitas, chorizo chimichanga and a chicken quesadilla. Portions were huge for all. I was let down with the quesadilla as the menu stated it had onions and peppers but I literally got chicken and cheese and a scoop of guacamole and sour cream. Besides that, chicken was flavorful and tender. Everything else was just as good. Perhaps it'll be a routine for us to head over there after mini golfing next time. Definitely worth checking out, just try not to drive past it.

I love this place!!! Amazing food and the employees are super friendly and make you feel at home. I've tried a variety of things in the menu and I have not been disappointed at all. My fave is the carnitas chimichanga. Flakey, crispy, with an unapologetic amount of meat on the inside and it's massive. The best I've ever had!! The flautas are thicker than I've normally had and are also fantastic. I've had about three or so more dishes that I've had and they are excellent but once you've tried the chimichangas, its extremely hard to try anything else. Xochi and Siry are the excellent staff on hand that make you feel so welcome. This has become a regular spot for me since about 5 months ago. The only occasional problem is if they get busy. A full house means wait times are a little long due to the few employees/servers available. The wait will always be worth it!

I was Surprised by this tiny hole in the wall but not necessarily pleasantly. Very small and authentic looking and that’s about it for the positives. The initial greeting and subsequent service were far less than stellar. The tables were dirty. We moved to several before we cleaned one ourselves, well enough to sit down then had a server clean again when she finally came. We had to ask for the complimentary chips and salsa. When we finally received entrees after a 20 minute wait, they were mediocre and we didn’t finish them. It’s not that I don’t recommend this establishment, but I would never go out of my way to get there. I would just make this an absolute last resort and only if you’re starving and everything else is closed.

I've dined at many places and never complained but this is the first time I am writing a review ONLY because the server tried to steal money from us through REQUIRING us to double tip. When we asked for the check, the server handed us the tablet with the page to add tip right away. No explanation that tip was added already. We did not see the explanation of the bill until we saw the emailed receipt. When I noticed the double tip in the car, I went back inside to confront her right away and she did not apologize but refunded the smaller tip amount and kept the bigger tip amount for herself. She should've refunded the bigger amount since that was based on the double charge we calculated after she already added the charge to the original bill. I did not argue since it was only about a $3 difference but I guess she was that desperate. The following is a more detailed review of our first experience here:

  1. It is a small spot that's easy to miss with minimal parking
  2. We had to grab the highchair ourself after asking the waitress. She told us to go get it.
  3. They do not have a kids menu
  4. Chips and salsa upon arriving- chips is bland and salsa is the only good thing from this whole experience
  5. Plantains were not ripe and lacked flavor.
  6. Steak Fajita had no seasoning. Steak had no flavor whatsoever. It was very bland.
  7. The guy that hung out there opened the door for us when we came in which...
