We went here for my dad's 70th birthday this past sunday along with my little nephew and we were really excited and had a good time at first, but felt like they were sort of predatory and they were trying to nickel and dime us every bit of the way, which didn't feel welcoming and sort of ruin the fun. After our session was over we decided to get a couple of the videos that were recorded. After we paid for the videos we got an email with a link, but it kept saying 'your photos and videos are still being processed, check again soon!' it's been 2 days now and and I still haven't received my videos, on top of that, I've called them the past 2 days and left a message asking where my videos are at. It doesn't seem like anyone cares or anyone works at the Montgomery location as I kept getting the voicemail and asking to leave a message. I also called the main office and all they did was say you got to call the Montgomery location as they can't really do much. This is unacceptable we paid good money for this and my little nephew was really looking forward to the videos and I hate having to tell him that I don't have them yet. Definitely will not be coming back here again and will be telling all my friends and family not to come here!!! This made a really good experience with my dad and nephew turn into a horrible experience. I don't know how this place has 4.7 stars. Worst customer service!!
Update: They finally reached out to me and apologized and were able to get my videos in a timely manner within the day, which is why I'm adding another star to the review. I would have added another star if they actually picked up the phone, but the fact it took 3 days to reach them I will leave...
Read moreThe low flight and high flight indoor skydiving wind tunnel are both fun experiences for singles, couples, families, friends, and co-workers! I purchased the low flight, high flight, and plus a extra high flight. I was definitely pumped up for some real indoor flying experience.
Upon my arrival, it was on a Saturday afternoon the iFly staff provided to me and the customers who were in my training class the best customer service, the best training, and the best indoor skydiving wind tunnel experience that is close enough to the out door skydiving I have ever experience in my life. And I will forever remember the experience until I go to Heaven. The experience was everything I imagined, or if not better!
In fact, because of my experience and my interest of trying a sport that’s more exciting, and adventurous, I am now considering indoor skydiving wind tunnel as my new hobby. Also, before my class and I were able to start our skydiving wind tunnel, there was a skinny guy who appeared to be short like me, and taught another class performed excellent and pro professional tricks in the indoor skydiving wind tunnel. That guy was amazing!
Because of my first time experience, the polite cashier, my polite trainer with the dreadlocks and his polite coworkers, plus other coworker who operated the wind tunnel, I am definitely going back to learn how to be a indoor skydiver for wind tunnel for fun! Do not do the virtual reality flight - the heavy helmet feels suffocating and you're unaware of your true surroundings to establish balance. The scenic views from the VR are not nearly as cool as an actual view from outdoor skydiving.
Also, their hand-signs are severely flawed because there are no signs in the language convention to instruct the customer to raise/lower arms and retract/extend them- this compromises both balance and safety.
While most staff are friendly, some are very condescending and most staff are unaware of how to best teach skills upon subsequent flights for returning adult customers. They also deliberately withhold schooling information for adult customers willing to advance their skills while insisting that customers book additional returning flights, which results in a repetitive, inconsistent, frustrating, and confusing experience. They claim to have a series of classes for children but do not offer such classes for adults- only additional flights where you learn half of a new skill after reviewing old basics.
