All-Star Sports Bar — Restaurant in Des Moines

Don' t go there if you're handicapped. We didnt mind sitting all the way in the back where the only low table and seating existed. The only problem is that no one really cared to serve us. We had to walk to the bar to order drinks after sitting for 10 minutes. Only then did she come to our able to take our drink order. I apologized for seating so far away but had no other option. My mom just graduated out of being in a wheel chair for 4 months into a walker.

She said it was no problem. She took my credit card to keep my tab open, as I planned on ordering more drinks. We had to ask for food menus. Then she never returned for our food orders. Went back to the bar to order food. Another girl took that. 25 minutes later no one came by with food nor did anyone come to take my drink order. This gentleman delivering food to another table saw we were still just sitting there checked and found out our food order ticket had fallen behind somewhere and apologized and said it woild be out in 10 minutes. He came back with fried to tie us over. Then brought our food over and told us he was knocking 50% off our food order. We would have left no tip for the girls. We left him a tip. Not his fault for the others lack of service, nor that the girl forgot we order Alfredo sauce on the pizza, instead of marinara because my mom can't eat tomatoes. We didnt send it back because we were starving. In the end, guess what! We had to go to the bar for our bill and a box for the pizza my mom couldnt eat. Again, the guy helped and brought our bill. Signed it all off to realize the bar still had my credit card. Would have been a half star if it wasnt for him and the food being...

Wait staff is super slow to females . On top of it for males . I guess they think we tip less however, most of us have waited tables too and are more likely to tip the same or more because we been in their shoes . Wish I Could get another drink before this one wears off . I’m watching all the men being tended to and it’s frustrating . Was hoping for a few “quick” drinks and an order to go . Didn’t plan to be here long. Still no order placed first drink gone . Still waiting . However , love the music and it’s a great crowd . Very nice place to be but wish the staff severed women the same as men . Several other ladies requesting to be served . I’ve seen women walk out mad so I guess I’m not the only one seeing this. Frustrating to hope for more than a single drink before they don’t serve . 2nd time this happened . Can’t comment on food because I’ve never had the opportunity to order any time here ....,.. expect to be here long and probably should drink before you come and call in the order if you want one . As a woman you will sis unnoticed by staff but noticed my guests . I suggest you take up the men buying...

Giant open space bar, should be good for games ... couldn't tell you like all bars over here took 25 min at the bar to even order, asked for beer and menu got beer... 45 min later I finally manged to flag down only bartender/server and asked of I could finally get that menu...

Bartender blamed being busy (3 people in here other then me) and said it's my fault I didn't yell at her

Lol not even mad Des Moines service industry is just halarious ...

45 min later still can't order food... jad to ask new bartender for my tab they also where rude and defended thier co-workers bad attitude... asked for tab now it's been 25 min staring at my card on a bar... I think they are avoiding me

Washington state seems to constantly lack service and respect In the service industry ... Des Moines seems to Excell at this ... and this bar should win an award...

Would have spent more if I could have ordered anything other then my first beer......

If you hate your life and job work somewhere else and don't take it out on your guests ....

Will not return here ever even if...
