ZERO STARS! Overpriced, miss labeled, and falsely advertised! Bet you clearly states like coming knowledge for anybody that’s had a spring roll would know it should entail of the rice wrapper, lettuce, carrots, shrimp, noodles. Now take a look at that picture and tell me if you see any of the last two ingredients. Might as well call it a lettuce wrap because that’s all it was was just lettuce and carrots and a piece of shrimp buried in the middle of it all is aware of that. After calling and complaining the owner said that that’s how they are supposed to be made because they have people complaining that the noodle start to smell bad from keeping them overnight. That’s a whole separate issue don’t list an ingredient literally on your website it bad you that you are knowingly not going to include in the item because I would not have paid what I paid for a literally just all lettuce and carrots because you guys what a cheap out and put whole shrimp or noodles and your spring rolls. I have never ever been to any type of Asian establishment that would call this a spring roll with no type of protein to it whatsoever and the restaurant was less than fourth coming being helpful in making it correctly. Never ever coming back and making sure nobody I know ever wastes their...
Read moreThis place used to be fantastic. The ingredients used to be fresh, prices used to be reasonable, and portions used to be plentiful. This was a place my wife and I frequented largely because my wife has a gluten intolerance and this was one of the few places in town where she didn't have to worry about what she was eating. Then in late February, they changed management. Half of their pleasant staff disappeared, the quality of the ingredients sharply decreased and portion sizes were halved, while prices and salt content increased, and the past few times we've gone back, my wife has had gluten reactions from dishes that are supposed to be gluten free. I've also found myself feeling sluggish and tired after eating here, much like I do after eating Chinese food. It never used to be that way. I used to recommend Phra Khun Thai Bistro to everyone locally because there aren't any stellar Chinese restaurants in the area but now I'm telling those same people the same things I've said here. Many of them have said that they've noticed the decline also. I'm sorry to say that 1 star is all this restaurant is...
Read moreThis is our family's favorite restaurant, the food here is so good and the owner, Kay, is wonderful!! We have eaten here for years, and the food has never disappointed us. Whether you are dining in (and we will dine in again one day soon!!) or picking up take-out, the food is always delicious -- wonderful, fresh, flavorful -- the best Thai food I've ever had. Kay makes all her own sauces (nothing from a bottle!). When our family stopped eating meat, Kay accommodated us with wonderful vegan sauces for all our favorite dishes!! Our favorite go-to dishes are Pad Thai with Tofu (ask for it with a side of bean sprouts and a wedge of lime, and toss them together), Pad Prik King with brown rice, and the Thai Basil Fried Rice. The Avocado Curry is also great!! And the Mango Rice dessert is so good. Actually, all Kay's homemade desserts are good. EAT HERE! And eat here often. Support a wonderful local business, where your meal is cooked with kindness and skill, served by a delightful family. I know you will love it as...
