McDonald's — Restaurant in Desert Hot Springs

I went to the drive thru just to get 2 large sodas and the female on the speaker stated that their machine was broken and are only accepting CASH! I had a line of cars behind me and a line of cars in front of me. I had to wait till all of the cars in front of me got their orders and the cars behind me wouldn't move of course because they had no clue of what was going on. There was no signage posted anywhere before driving into the drive thru. This happens a lot at this mcdonalds, Im starting to think they pocket the cash. When I got to the window there were two employees there, one was wearing a mcdonalds blue uniform, the other was wearing a bright yellow, orange and brown outfit that looked like a golfing outfit. I asked who was the manager and the employee wearing blue pointed at the other and the supposed manager walked away. I asked why was their machine broken again. He just smiled and said I don't know, I told him you guys should put a sign so that I wouldn't have driven into the drive thru. He smiled and said Im sorry. I then asked if it was a franchise or a corporation and he said it was a corporation. I then told him I was going to call corporate tomorrow morning. It was a horrible experience. I had to wait in the drive thru for over 10 minutes just waiting to give my order and that was once I reached the ordering kiosk.I had to actually ask if there was anyone to help me. I repeated my order three times before the guy got it right. Once I reached the first window to pay I gave the guy the exact change and he handed me back a bunch of change. When I stated that I should not be getting any change only dollar bills he wanted to see the receipt which was blowing in my hand in the wind. I explained that I gave him exact change so I wouldn't get back a whole bunch of change he had no idea what to do. Once I reached the next window the manager had nothing but excuses to offer me and never once said she was sorry for the mistake. HORRIBLE SERVICE!! Update 8/2017 still horrible service!

11/2018 Still the worst service! Took over 30 minutes to get a simple meal.... update 08/22 Gave it 1 more try took over 15 minutes to get orfe4 and food was cold, called spoke to Mgr Jenny she said drive back and get new order now why would I do that????HORRIBLE SERVICE! Well sometimes it takes a while to get your food but I think they do three or four cars at a time but I came across the steak egg and cheese bagel sandwich for breakfast and that thing is really good and the go to breakfast sandwich now for me and my grandkids it's a good alternative for those who don't eat pork.. I just wanted to add one more thing you guys need to take down your sign saying you're hiring it gives false hope to people who are really looking for work we constantly put in our applications and never get a call starting to wonder what the real reason is can somebody let us know what is the trick to getting hired it used to be so easy and now it seems like people are heavily vetted I have 20 years experience with McDonald's and yet I cannot get a job sorry you guys but you guys need to figure out how to give everybody an equal opportunity for work not just the high schoolers who are not concerned about working all the time and can quit at a minutes notice some of us older season people are really looking for solid more...
