Bruster's Real Ice Cream — Restaurant in Destin

We pulled into Bruster’s at 9:36pm. There was a long line and 1 person was working the front. We had several members of our family so we let a couple go in front of us to be nice RIGHT when we got up to order. When we got to the window at 10:01 the blonde working told us she would only sell us cones or cups bc they were closed. I explained that we arrived at 9:36 and bc we had to wait so long in line that’s why it was now 10:01. I asked her if she would make a shake or sundae and she refused. She was rude and told me I was rude so she would not make a shake or sundae. She had made a shake for the ppl that were ahead of the ppl we let go in front of us. I noticed a girl working in the back but she never assisted the blonde that refused to serve what we wanted while we stood in line for 24 minutes. This is fall break. We have been coming here for years. It’s terrible that only 1 person was running the front and even worse that after you wait in line that long you are told they will not serve what you waited for. We left. I doubt we will ever be back. I mentioned writing a review and she even mentioned yelp. How rude. I think the owner needs to know what kind of employee she has working at this business and how...

Bruster's Real Ice Cream was a delightful treat for our family outing! The moment we stepped in, we were greeted by a mouthwatering display of freshly made ice cream flavors, and the aroma alone was enough to excite our taste buds.

Been visiting Destin with the family for over a decade and found Bruster’s years ago along with the best ice cream, Almond Chocolate Coconut. They make it along with other excellent flavors but do not have it available all the time. This year when we visited they did not have the wonderful flavor I was craving for over a year but my wife asked and they delivered. The individual that makes the ice cream in the morning called my wife and made sure that she made enough Almond Chocolate Coconut to keep me happy all week. We bought 3 half gallons to bring all the way back to Texas. Thank you all for your excellent customer service and for accommodating our request. It’s been a week since we’ve been back home and I am still enjoying your wonderful ice cream. Can’t wait to re-up next year.
