Harbor eatery closes for four hours after health inspection. Care to comment?

Fishheads at 98B Harbor Boulevard was found in violation of 12 safety regulations, according to a report from the Department of Business and Professional Regulation. The worst offense, listed as high priority, was gray water from the hand-wash sinks and triple sink found on the ground of the building. The water was draining directly on the ground and pooled under the establishment.

The sink was also unusable and the temperature was unable to reach 100 degrees. There also were no paper towels or mechanical hand-drying device provided at the sink.

The restaurant, which has outdoor seating only, also had standing water on the ground outside the rear east side of the building.

Investigators ordered an immediate closure of the restaurant April 9. It was reopened four hours later after a plumber came out to fix the broken pipe.

Another violation included the eatery adding a pineapple bar without first getting the plan reviewed and submitted to the city of Destin for approval. There was also no proof of state-approved employee training for any of its workers.

Good presentation, but drinks not worth the price. Initially service was friendly and good, yet that changed after I went back to the counter an asked if I could have a napkin and a extra straw? The owner was so rude. He asked did you give a "tip" then yelled this is my business and that is costing me money" He gave a napkin and walked off. I walked up and I didn’t see a menu. I was just passing by but I saw other people ordering pineapple and coconuts. So I started to say I didn’t see a menu when the worker was mocking me about not seeing the menu. The rest my wait was just hearing them talk badly about me.
