Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Detroit Lakes

We ordered at 4:29pm on a Sunday night. Before 5pm we got a notification that our order was out for delivery. At 5:25pm I called to ask why we didn't have our order. The lady who answered came off a bit rude and irritated that I called. Said the drivers car broke down and the other driver was out to get the orders delivered and there was 3 other orders that needed to be delivered, too. Now, I get things happen. I understand places are short staffed at this time. I also understand how frustrating this could be (possibly why the lady came off rude and irritated sounding to me). But, I don't understand why a call wasn't made to us explaining the situation (could have been done while waiting for the other delivery driver to pick up the orders). Just irritated that we were not informed our order might take longer due to the car breaking down and when I called she was rude. I find this as poor...

Sat at the WINDOW waiting on our order for 15 MINUTES !! Got to the window at 6:40pm. The young brunette (female) hands us our bag and I tell her she forgot our side pickle. We had ordered 2 sandwiches. 2 drinks. 1 chip. 1 pickle. For another 10 MINUTES we are waiting on that ONE pickle to be handed to me. So while we sat, there were many employees just glancing at the window and not helping. The young girl who "was helping" was mingling with her friends who came in. The store wasn't busy with people . There was another car waiting behind me for a good 10 minutes also. After waiting a whole 10 minutes for a PICKLE I finally got my order after sitting at the window a total of 25 minutes (7:05) with very little customer service. Receipt says her name is Mercedes. My family has been to many different Jimmy John’s stores. All have had the same fast and consistent experience with the exception of this Detroit Lakes store. Two years ago it was great, but something has changed since. I have ordered via delivery, drive thru, and via mobile ordering in the last 6 months here and the experience has been poor each time. Delivery has taken an hour, drive thru has taken over 20 minutes, and my recent mobile order seemed to cause confusion. In this case, I pulled up to the window and they hadn’t done anything with the order even though it was 30 plus minutes old.
