I can't even begin to express my frustration with the agonizing experience I endured at Go Sy Thai during my lunch break. I'm all for enjoying a leisurely meal, but when you're on a time crunch, it becomes a nightmare. I waited for over 45 minutes, which then extended to a ridiculous 3-hour ordeal.
First and foremost, time is a precious commodity during lunch breaks, and Go Sy Thai completely disregarded that. It's as if they think the world revolves around them and their glacial service. This is not a Michelin-star restaurant where you'd gladly wait for a masterpiece – it's supposed to be a quick, convenient spot to grab a bite.
The staff's indifference to the fact that they were causing customers to lose valuable work hours is mind-boggling. Their lackadaisical approach to customer service is infuriating. Even a simple acknowledgment of the delay would have been appreciated, but no, they seemed perfectly content with my wasted afternoon.
I've worked in customer service, and I understand that hiccups can happen. However, the complete lack of any semblance of professionalism or customer care at Go Sy Thai is inexcusable. If I wanted to spend my lunch break in an endless waiting game, I'd have just stayed at the office.
My advice? Stay far away from Go Sy Thai during your lunch break if you value your time and sanity. It's an infuriating experience that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. There are countless better options out there where you can actually enjoy a meal without feeling like you're being held hostage.
UPDATE* Dear Go Sy Thai Team,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to sincerely apologize for the harsh review I left on Google following a recent experience with your restaurant. I was frustrated and upset at the time, which in no way justifies my negative comments, and I would like to rectify this.
My impatience got the best of me when my takeout order was delayed, and I let my emotions get the better of me when I posted that review. After some reflection, I realize that it was unfair to lash out in such a manner, especially considering how much I have enjoyed your food and service in the past.
I understand that mistakes can happen, and there may have been unforeseen circumstances that caused the delay in my order. I recognize that your team works hard to provide great food and service to your customers. My frustration should not have been directed at your establishment in such a negative way.
I would like to formally retract my previous review and ask for your forgiveness. I deeply regret the words I used and the damage they may have caused to your reputation. In the future, I will make a conscious effort to address any issues or concerns with your team directly and privately, rather than resorting to public negativity.
Once again, I apologize for my impulsive and thoughtless actions. I hope that you can find it in your hearts to accept my apology and consider me as a valued customer once more. I look forward to continuing to enjoy the wonderful cuisine and service that Go Sy Thai has always...
Read moreThe food was a 3.5 and I'd go back if the customer service wasn't so trash.
I ordered a curry dish for carry out. Apparently they didn't even put the top on or something because the curry was spilled all in the bag by the time I got home (and I live almost around the corner). I brought the entire thing back in and asked them to remake it which they did but:
As soon as I walked in someone was like, "once you leave the store it's your responsibility. Next time we won't remake it."
Like... yes... you will. How you mess up my food and somehow make it my fault? This wouldn't have been AS annoying if not for #2 as well (because I understand that someone genuinely might have knocked the top off their self when they got in the car and then brought it back even though it wasn't the restaurant's fault so I'm not that mad at this one).
They put me at the end of the cook line. When someone comes in with something that's been messed up, most restaurants have the sense to prepare the new dish immediately since that person has already waited for their food and now has to wait again due to the restaurant's negligence.
These two combined made the experience booboo. After sitting around the second time watching everyone's food be prepared ahead of mine, I almost asked for my money back instead of the remake but i decided not to because I'm SURE they would've raised hell over that if they were upset I even had the nerve to request my food be remade and packaged adequately.
Then to top it all off, when I got the remake, they politely wrapped it in saran wrap which I'm happy about BUT... I opened it when I got home and it was leaking A BIT. So if they hadn't wrapped it, it would've leaked AGAIN ( and been my fault again, I'm sure). So clearly they just don't have a means of packaging curry to go and need to say that instead of making a mess then...

This Thai eatery truly knows how to craft outstanding dishes, particularly their heavenly Chicken Drunken Noodles and tantalizing Chicken Fried Rice.
Let's start with the star of the show—the Chicken Drunken Noodles. The wide rice noodles were flawlessly cooked, maintaining their perfect chewiness. The aromatic Thai basil, combined with a delightful spicy kick, elevated this dish to an entirely new level of deliciousness. Each mouthwatering bite left me craving more, a true testament to the mastery of flavors in this Thai delicacy.
Equally impressive was their Chicken Fried Rice. Fragrant rice was expertly stir-fried with chunks of chicken, a medley of fresh vegetables. The combination of textures and flavors was simply divine, as the savory soy sauce and subtle smokiness from the wok enhanced the dish's allure. Every forkful was a burst of umami goodness, leaving me utterly satisfied.
