Having been answering the phone in weeks . Disappointed in them completely because times when I’ve called to place my to go order , I get no answer , just a ringing telephone. I go up there and their forts were lock but it’s says they open until 2 am. They see me trying to get in , so I fall again and someone FINALLY answers and says they are closed. Two weeks later I Sent my boyfriend to get me a carry out and he tried to place my order , still no answer just a ringing phone. He gets up there and very upset because he now has to wait for the Order. When he asked why they haven’t been answering the phone , they tell him that it’s broken. LIARS! I just think they don’t want people placing to go orders. But a customer could call about anything , menu prices , seating , literally anything ! I am a restaurant manager and I love their food but their customer service i am very displeased with. Maybe a week almost two weeks ago it was Pride in Detroit, I sat at a table with me and my friend , our order came fast and food was great. Our waitress was not however, she complained about the gay boys singing , rolling her eyes saying she had to deal with them all weekend. I don’t know this waitress name but I do know she had drawn on blue eyebrows. I didn’t appreciate that because them boys didn’t do anything to her and she was the waitress to their table as well, I’m sure they tipped her but we didn’t. I don’t like that type of stuff. My brother is gay and I’m not about to laugh and joke with her about it either. You all as a restaurant need to check your selves and the people who’s working there. This is very unacceptable and honestly , I should have called for a manager or went to corporate. But I want to let my people know as we spend our money here what this restaurant is...
Read moreThe food was really good, clean, good pricing for the proportions and the fajitas came out quick and were very good. Service was ok, nothing exceptional. She only canner over to take orders and deliver food. We had to flag here down several times. They offer you chips and salsa and refills on them, and like many typical Mexican restaurants, you assume it's complimentary. We were offered a second helping and she dropped the third helping off without asking us. However, we were charged for 3 chips and salsa.....mind you the third one was never even touched or asked for yet we were charged. And the 2ad basket was removed with chips still in it. Also she brought a refill on my drink when it was half full which typically is much appreciated. I always respect a waitress that brings refills before your cup is empty. However, she charged for the refill. Again without asking if I wanted a refill. And furthermore most restaurants offer free refills. I don't mind paying for things but I would rather know there is a fee instead of getting a bill after the fact especially when it wasn't asked for or consumed.
The waitress was a little unknowledgeable about the dishes that were offered. When we asked about a specific menu item, she told us they were out of cheese. We saw another waiter and asked him about the menu option and if they were out of cheese and he said no. I'm not really certain what that was about perhaps because she did not know about the dish that we had asked about.
All in all, I'd go back but I definently am aware that they charge for everything, including refills on...
Read moreA friend and I stopped by during the afternoon and all I can say is we will NOT be back. It took forever for everything. Took about 10 mins to take our drink order of pop another 10 mins to get it. We were clearly ready to order but the waiter ran off before we could. He ran off doing what I don't know before coming back 15 mins later after noticing us to take our order. Mind you he seated other people and took their order after us. Other people that came in after us got waited on and their food before us. They gave us chips and salsa. I ordered the chicken fajita with extra salsa and sour cream. We got our food but they only brought out half of mine and nothing to eat it with. Brought the rest of it out 5 mins later with one sour cream and that was it. Good thing I saved some of my salsa from the chips and there was hardly any chicken in the fajita just mostly veggies. Not once did anyone ever come over to check on us or see how we were doing or if we needed anything. My friend asked if I wanted a carry out box and I said no because I wasn't about to wait another 15 mins for a simple box. It took just that to get our bill and we paid at the bar after getting someone's attention so we didn't have to wait around any longer than we had.
It was not worth the $15 each for the food. I've gotten better food and service at Taco Bell. I hate to even give 1 star because it's not...
