Nikki's Ginger Tea — Restaurant in Detroit

I don’t know much about the service and atmosphere but I know this stuff is AMAZING!!! I can’t believe I’m just now finding it out! It’s a little bit sweeter than I expected but that’s my taste and I just took a few sips and topped it off with some filtered water from my fridge and BAM! Then come to find out how much support they do for local communities. I was delighted to see Greg Mudge (RIP) of Midgie’s picked them up (video is on their site). I discovered it at Rivertown market bc I retuned to the island view neighborhood earlier this year and they make it (or used to idk) right up the street! This was my first time seeing this at Eastern Market. The man working asked if I had ever tasted it and I said no. He told me to choose one and I could have it. I love cherries and tea so I chose the cherry apple and insisted on paying but he wouldn’t let me. This stuff is amazing. It has a strong ginger flavor so I diluted it and made hot tea with it. This review is for the product itself I received at Zingermann's as a treat. I really did not like the tea as all I tasted was sugar. I was later shocked to read that the bottle (473ml) contained 52grams of sugar.
