I write this vowing to revisit this review at a later date. I feel like my experience was atypical, based on the numerous stellar word-of-mouth reviews I've heard over the years. It seems that the crew was off that day. Firstly, I had called in an order and they only made one of two meals. When I asked for the second meal, they charged me for the wrong thing. I noticed this right away and now had to swipe my card again for a $4.00 charge. After this, my family called me-not the employees' fault- I had to order three additional meals. I apologized for the extra changes. When we received everything one of the meals (their 2.99 special) was missing. We'd paid for it, but since we had gone back and forth so much, we told the cashier not to worry about it. On a more positive note, the #8 was so hot and delicious. Not a huge fan of their regular ranch (comes on the salad), but their special sauce (gold sauce) is amazing. The turkey breast sandwich was dry and not the best. I will have to try it again to let you all know how my experience is overall.

I would not recommend The Turkey Grille. The only item I somewhat enjoyed was the collard greens. I did not know the Yams were mashed potato yams, with entirely too much nutmeg and cinnamon. The dressing had too much sage It was very overpowering and we could not eat it. The macaroni and cheese I could stomach but it taste like it was made with Velveeta cheese and a couple of days old. As for the fried turkey, we had the flat & drumstick, the drumstick was overcooked thus making it very dry like sawdust, the flat was tender and moist. Turkey Grille I wish you much success as a black business in the days ahead but the seasonings and spices my palette was just not accustomed to or expected for the sides I purchased. In the words of Randy Jackson,“It’s going to be a no for me …dawg!’ B.Y.O.S. BRING YOUR OWN SIDES P.S. the rolls were undercooked. Out $50 bucks for 2 meals.

Don’t order Door Dash from here. There’s a rude lady that claims to be the manager that answers the phone and tracks the orders. When placed my first order I did it incorrectly by mistake and only received three sauces, so I placed another order or the turkey bites and when my dasher came to get it, she argued with him saying that someone already picked it up. When I tried to explain to her that I had placed a second order she said that I placed three orders and someone already picked it up. I let her know that it wasn’t picked up and that’s what my dasher was there to do but she hung up. When I called back to speak to the owner she said that he wasn’t there and couldn’t give me a time to speak with him. It was a horrible experience after waiting hours for my lunch and I never got it. I’ll never eat here again.
