Saturn Coffee — Restaurant in Detroit

Saturn coffee is so cute, airy, plants and art work. Perfect location in the neighborhood and even has outdoor space to sit.

I completely understand it's a grand opening and I packed my patience ahead of arriving on Saturday. However an hour wait for an iced coffee and croissant is ridiculous and when I checked in, the owner said it was still going to be a while. I had to leave before receiving order.

A better system has to be put in place for faster service. Just a side note, if the owner is going to assist with the register and food, she should wear gloves while doing so, she is hugging, greeting people etc. but then grabbing pastry with bare hands afterwards.

Just a suggestion, perhaps friends and family have a special preview/tasting specially for them. I think that may have caused some of the delay.

Also maybe treat the outside sitting area or place insect traps including around the doors for bees and insects as they are aggressive and everywhere.

I'll try Saturn Coffee in a few months once things die down and the kinks...

Great coffee with beans from Hyperion.
