I hope this gets to the franchisee of the Dickson City store. I always liked Jersey Mikes, but this latest experience may have pushed me back to subway! First, I called in an order. The guy answered and I wasn't even sure he said Jersey Mikes. He literally grunted. I thought a gorilla had picked up the phone. THEN, when I was ordering, there was silence the whole time until the end. Then he grunted something. I eventually got out that he wanted to know chicken or beef. The conversation sounded like he had a hoagie hanging out of his mouth. Anyway, I got a giant big Kahuna, provolone instead of American, and Banana peppers instead of Jalapenos. Extra! Same as I always order, and never a Problem. I said to my wife, "that's gonna come out wrong. I can just feel it". I got there, and my mistake...I didn't check it right there. Got it home, and first, it had American, not Provolone (I HATE American cheese on cheesesteaks! It was ruined!). Then, my Extra banana peppers consisted of FIVE rings. That's less than a regular order, let alone extra!! (I'm really surprised there wasn't jalapenos on it!) So, my two favorite things on it, Provolone cheese and banana peppers, were virtually non-existent! And worse yet, there WAS American cheese, which I despise. It's like if you order no mayonnaise, but you get it. You can't scape it off. It's ruined! I paid $20 for a hoagie that I basically ended up not eating! I know it's hard getting help these days. I'm a business owner myself, and have issues hiring. But my God! I would never even consider hiring anyone like this. He is apparently a person who has no respect for his job or employer, pays absolutely NO attention to details, and is extremely socially uncaring. Please frequently and covertly check on your workers, because they are quickly going to ruin your business with...
Read moreNever have an issue with this place, but feel I need to share my thoughts on today's experience. It was pretty busy at the time of my arrival which was fine being it was lunch time. As I waited in line I watched the employees interact and this really bothered me. There seemed to be a new guy working and I'll be surprised if he even comes back. Not because it was busy, but due to how his coworker treated him. There was a girl who was making the sandwiches and he was wrapping. She took over sandwich making because he was having trouble keeping up but that's understandable being it was a rush. The faces she kept making at him and the hand jesters were quite rude and I promise I saw every single one of them. I'm going to tell you that most people really don't care if they have to wait a few extra minutes especially if someone is learning. If you felt he was doing such an awful job ask someone to take over for him until the rush is over and let him learn on a slower crowd. May be if you stopped putting him Down you would have realized you over doused my sub with oil and Vinegar which made my sub extremely soggy and inedible.. Oh Look!! Even you make mistakes as a human being. Please let the young man know he did fine. And that your other employee needs an attitude adjustment. Fast and sloppy subs vs efficient and put together? You tell me which you would prefer. We've all been that new person and the only person there that should be ashamed...
Read moreMy husband and I are regulars at this location and usually really enjoy our experience, however last night we left very upset. There was an older gentleman ahead of us whom placed his order at slicer which the woman there was very kind and welcoming, they check him out he pays etc. well five minutes later other girl comes out from back and continues to ring out man and his price is completely different, so he kindly asks why, girl at register just went about whole situation very rudely . Saying the girl at slicer did the order wrong and then saying the man didn't know what he ordered , when SHE was wrong and could have just fixed it and dropped the situation. So after we finally receive our food and trying to eat our meal all we can hear is this girl very loudly continuing on talking rude about the customer etc. so after awhile of this my husband walks over and just lets her know that we can hear everything they are saying because there were several customers and the words were not very friendly to where they just continued to be very rude and unprofessional, the poor woman slicing kept apologizing. Just overall very bad experience and think you need to have a talk with that girl on customer service skills....
