Ronnie's Q — Restaurant in Dickson

literally just took the last bite of brisket…had to pull over at the Kroger parking lot… y’all… I’ve traversed a lot of miles….especially in Texas… where they take smoking meats just as seriously… buuuut… from the first bite… dare I say, a perfect bite… I could taste the smoke, the protein, the gristle, the seasoning all interwoven perfectly…just absolutely shocking my senses… ordered a 1/2 lbs funny thing is, I was there the day before…right as they put out the sign…that read NO MORE BEEF… which quickly let me know …that it was a must have item… now I am FULLY A W A R E …as to why this BEEF is a MUST HAVE… dare I go back for another 1/2 lbs on my way back to Cumberland Furnace?! naaahh…I gotta savor it…understand that the next time…aaaand there will be a next time… I just gotta taste it a little bit slower…

I am a long time customer and it never, ever disappoints. The bbq always has that great smoked taste and it’s so tender and juicy. The brisket is the same way. I can honestly say this is the best bbq I have ever had. My late father was real picky with his bbq having grown up in west TN. He always talked about bbq there was the best ever. I took him a family pack one day from here and he was blown away. He would make the trip to Dickson just to get bbq after that. Ronnie and the entire staff is always smiling and friendly. This is nothing but pure awesomeness if that is a word. I love the experience, the food, the people, the other customers I had a ball. I can't wait to go back We had some of everything chicken, ribs, brisket, ho-cakes, potato salad, mac/cheese, green beans, Snicker brownie, and big greedy here got Chess pie also. I know I got a lot, my eyes are bigger than my stomach. But think big no cooking Saturday. Oh, oh did I forget a gallon bag of fresh cracklings skins.
