This restaurant was amazing! We showed up close to opening so it wasn’t really too busy. We got seated right away and the staff was super friendly. We started with our drinks but they were out of the cream soda we wanted so we had regular sodas.
By showing up early in the day, they did not have any slow roasted items. If you want slow roasted items make sure to show up a little later in the day. That being said, the menu is huge! There was plenty for our party to choose from to each have what we wanted without feeling like we settled for less.
The mandarin orange glazed pork chops were delicious! It came with two sides so of course both had to be carb loaded. Starting with the sides: the mashed potatoes were good, but not over the top good like everything else. They were creamy and soft and warm but as mashed potatoes should be. They were about the only averagely good thing on the plate. The fries were amazing. They had a nice crisp outside with a soft inside and a great seasoning to them. They were so good it was very tempting to order another order of just fries (though the whole meal was so filling another order would not have been needed). The main contender on this plate was the pork. It was a thick cut and had a great sear to the outside while maintaining a perfect cook throughout and very juicy and tender. The sauce was very delicious and was easily enough to flavor the whole pork serving. Every cut was so addicting that none was able to be left as take home leftovers. The pork easily was so very impressive that it will probably be ordered again with our next visit.
The mahi fish tacos were really good. We ordered one as grilled and one as fried and if I were to choose again, I would do both fried. The picture doesn’t do it well enough to make it look like tacos. I don’t know about you, but when I order fish tacos I hope there is enough fish and not an overload of fillings; these tacos were perfect. The tacos had a lot of great flavor and just the perfect amount of filling to not spill out too bad. Another easily ordered item in future visits. It’s side was chips which were really good. The only complaint about the sides is that the salsa should have came in a bigger bowl as it was hard to dip into these small ones.
Our friend ordered the cauliflower & quinoa power bowl with tri tip. He liked the flavor of the meat, but thought the picture showed more meat than what he was served. He said it was good but not overall impressive and just seemed like an expensive chipotle. This dish will not be on our order again list in the future.
The quick service, nice staff, and great ambiance of the environment makes for a great lunch or dinner outing that we recommend and will be...

Read moreFor years, I always drove by this place but never went here even though I lived here. On August 4th (last month), my wife and I finally decided to check it out, and I don't say this light, but the experience was not pleasant. The moment we walked in, the hostesses seemed bothered. When we were seated, I went to use the restroom real quick, but the whole way there and back was nerve-racking due to the whole floor being...slick? Greasy? I have no idea what the heck it was. I managed not to fall. Moments later, we saw a napkin or a coaster (not sure) on the floor, and a waiter just picked it up and put it back on the table. Kinda gross with the floor being the way it was. The food was okay, very unimaginative and so-so flavor. Not even the mashed potatoes looked good, as if it was pre-packaged food that was thrown into the microwave and not actually cooked. I'm not sure what was going on that day or if it's the current state of our economy, but everyone - EVERYONE - did not look like they want to be there. Our own waiter lacked any sort of enthusiasm (can't remember his name now) and he just sort of plopped our plates on the table without saying a word. It's kind of funny now that I think about it, but it was a very disappointing experience to...
