Diced- Doral — Restaurant in Doral

Location: Diced, 2600 NW 87th Ave, Doral, FL 33172 Date and Time of Visit: October 16, 2025, around 9:10 PM to 9:33 PM

From the moment my friend and I walked in, we were not greeted. We stood at the counter for over seven minutes waiting for someone to take our order while the staff acted as if they did not want to attend to us. When the girl at the counter finally took our order, she was extremely rude and rushed through the process. She did not even allow my friend to enter her phone number to earn points.

She immediately told us that they did not have any protein ready and that it would take fifteen to twenty minutes, but her tone made it very clear that she was hoping we would leave. It was also obvious that the staff had already started cleaning at 9:10 PM even though we had arrived well before closing time. It felt like they were intentionally trying to close early and discourage customers from dining in.

After waiting the full twenty minutes, we received our food at 9:30 PM, but it was packed in bags and ready to go instead of being brought out on trays like it normally is when customers eat inside. It was evident that they wanted us to take our food to go. Before leaving, I checked my bag to make sure everything was there and noticed that my sauce, chips, and guacamole were missing.

I have allergy restrictions and always ask for vegan sauces because I am allergic to dairy and eggs. However, the sauces I received were regular ones, which made me hesitant to eat my food because I was not sure if any of the sauce had been put on my meal by mistake. When I asked for the correct vegan sauce, the same girl told me that she had already put the sauce in my bag. I explained that the containers did not say vegan on them like they normally do, and instead of listening, she gave me attitude and looked at me as if I was bothering her. After I showed her again that the sauces were not labeled vegan, she finally gave me the correct ones.

I then told her that my chips and guacamole were also missing, and she became even more frustrated. She put them on the counter in front of me without saying anything and walked away. As my friend and I were getting ready to leave, we could hear her talking and laughing with her coworkers, clearly about us. My friend even pointed out that they were looking at us and laughing while they continued cleaning.

We walked out at 9:33 PM, and immediately after we stepped outside, she locked the door behind us even though the restaurant’s hours clearly state that they close at 10 PM. As I sat in my car feeling uncomfortable and disappointed, I saw another person try to enter at 9:45 PM, but they could not open the door because it had already been locked.

I am genuinely appalled by the service we received. I would completely understand if we had walked in at 9:45 PM, but we arrived nearly fifty minutes before closing, and the staff was already cleaning and acting as if they were closed. This is not the kind of experience I expect from a place I visit often. I have always enjoyed Diced in the past, but this visit was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful.

Between the lack of greeting, the long wait, the rude attitude, the incorrect order, the disregard for my food allergies, and the early closing, this visit was unacceptable. Surprisingly good taste and a positive perception of fresh, healthy ingredients. I was very happy to have visited this place a couple of days ago for lunch. I was coming from the nearby Quest Diagnostic who is in the same plaza so I was fasting and hungry! There were a few choices in the plaza but I decided to try Diced a try. I feel I made the right choice!

So Diced is a bowls place. You have the option to either build a wrap, a bowl, or to build a salad. You then get to pick a protein from a choice of Veggie Choice, PlanTadillo, Chicken, Chili Chicken, Steak, and Tuna. You then pick a rice if you choose to: Forbidden Rice, White Rice, Quinoa, and Brown Rice. For salad you have the option of Spinach and Spring Mix. Next you pick your beans either black beans, pinto beans, or chickpeas. For vegetable toppings you can pick as many as you want from the choices of spinach, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, peppers, corn, carrots, black olives, cucumber, cilantro, and avocado. You move on to pick your cheese from choices of mozzarella, and cheddar. Lastly, you top it with a sauce. They choices are tomato basil, spicy guava, vinaigrette, garlic cilantro, vegan tomato basil, vegan spicy guava, or vegan garlic cilantro.

My choices for the bowl were brown rice, chili chicken, chickpeas, lettuces, tomatoes, onions, cucumber, cilantro, topped with the garlic cilantro sauce. It was very tasty! Definitely a great place and would visit again if I’m...

I used the delivery option for the first time today. I usually shy away from ordering delivery because it's always a hassle for me due to language barriers or incorrect orders. Today was no different, it was a hassle. Unfortunately in a rush i accidently entered the incorrect address ). The driver was having trouble finding my location this is when i learned i had given the wrong address :( I also learned the driver was elderly and hard of hearing . I speak Spanish just enough to give him the proper address, he was able to get close to the correct location but kept passing it. Since I don't speak Spanish well enough to give specific directions, i got someone that spoke fluent Spanish to help us out but since the driver was hard of hearing it made it difficult even then. We ultimately just gave up and told the driver he could have the food and not to worry. I called this location only to let them know what happened and that it was partially my fault for entering the wrong address. I wasn't looking for a refund, nor was i calling to complain just wanted to explain the situation.
