I would like to say this little place is a gem. It is so clean and snazzy. they have the fried shrimp tempura appetizer which is delish, the breading is just enough that it isn't too heavy and u can enjoy the taste of shrimp and breading. We usually get the hurricane which has salmon and crab which is yummy, we ask for seaweed on the outside which makes it easier to grab without it breaking apart. We've only been to this location twice. The first time was a great experience the sushi was on point, the shrimp tempura appetizer was perfect and the beer fresh and crisp, the second it was not as amazing as the first but still a positive experience. The beer was warm and the waitress got our order wrong, so we had to wait a little longer, the way the sushi was wrapped was very flimsy. We also ordered the steak noodles and it was EH.... totally not worth the 22 dollars we were charged, the noodles were sticky and under cooked, the steak barely had any flavor and the amount was small for the price, I'll stick to the sushi (see photos below) They have a sushi bar but nobody can sit at it since it's small and being used for take out delivery orders (they are very busy) . The decor is amazing, they even have a TV in the restroom! All in all, would I go back? Yes I would, is it a little pricey, yes... not only are u paying for the food but you are paying for the decor, the service etc. What made it worthwhile to me? the manager was on the floor at ALL times, he was running food and helping the servers and the to go orders because it was very busy, not many managers do that. The first time we were there he came to our table to ask about the food, we mentioned the breading on the shrimp, that was 7 months ago, the second time we went which was last week August 11th he came up to our table to ask us how everything was and remembered us mentioning the comment we made about the breaded shrimp!!! I was totally shocked, I did not expect that.... especially with so many people going in and out of that restaurant I would not expect him to remember us much less our comments on the food since we really aren't regulars. A manager who pays attention to comments and suggestions gets an A+ in my book and a return visit from us. Keep up the great work, I wish all locations were like this one!

I would not even give the restaurant a full star. Service is extremely important with in a restaurant. If you cant be hospitable then do not work in this industry. I ordered food (06/07/18) from DoorDash of this location. When ordering I had what I always normally eat at the restaurant. But this time since I did order through a third party company im guessing they didn't really care about the portions served. The restaurant charged me the regular $19 for my stake teriyaki, but it wasn't even half of the regular portion I have received before. When calling the restaurant to dispute this inconvenience, very rudely the manager on duty by the name of Alex Enriquez stated that I was lying that they would not serve that to a guest yet they did. I even suggested I could email him a picture of it but he was extremely rude and was not willing to help me at all. I was not looking for any compensation what so ever simply a recognition and an explanation as to what had happened. I work at a hotel and I have even considered taking Sushi Sake off of our guest recommended restaurant due to the lack of responsibility and poor service. For sure none of our hotel guest will be ordering from this location.

Calle ocho roll was ok but my spider roll and deep fried squid was a disappointment due to the batter used to fried their items. It was salty and thick as well as soggy (seems the fryer was not using fresh oil or the oil was not hot enough). They used a flour base batter instead of the usual panko Japanese breading. My mom enjoyed her spicy conch roll very much and also liked her tiger roll, which is why I am giving it three stars and not less. Place was empty due to the awkward signage and placement of the business in this shopping center to the detriment of the retailers. The lemonade seems watered down which is fine for me since I can’t drink too much sweets but others might not like it. I think this is the second local of sushi sake we tried and both times I was not thrilled.

Best Sushi in Doral!!! The food was excellent and so was the service. Our waiter, Luis, was nice, but the busser Nicolas was spectacular. He was so attentive; he gave us great suggestions on what to order, he brought out our food and drinks extremely fast and made sure we were taken care of the whole night. We thought he was our waiter until he told us he was only the busser. We ordered ceviche trio and tuna tetaki as appetizers. The Ceviche was delicious; my only complaint was that there wasn't more of it. The tetaki was so good, the tuna was marinated in this lime, green onion, sesame oil sauce... it just tasted delicious. We ordered the sashimi platter, volcano roll, and bagel tempura roll. Everything tasted amazing. We will definitely be back soon!
