I VERY VERY seldom write a bad review however; after traveling all over the world and visiting Starbucks world wide, there is an expectation of consistent good coffee and customer service. This Doral Starbucks location sadly lacks both. The staff appeared only to care about themselves and their topic of conversation. I was the only one standing at the counter for four minutes before I was asked what I wanted. I ALWAYS get the same drink (hot or cold) at every Starbucks I visit (which is why this visit gets only one star). After I told the employee what I wanted, a debate ensued about what I ordered. I said "light" she told me I said "white" mocha. Needless to say...don't debate me as a customer when I KNOW what I said. When the barista was making my drink she asked me if I wanted a "skinny". I said skim milk and no whipped cream. When I got my drink it was still not what I originally ordered. When I told her I ordered an add shot, she looked at the girl who took my order and they both looked bothered that I related my drink was incorrect. I finally just took it and left rather than debate the merits of customer service and satisfaction. My hope is this Starbucks manager in the future leaves one mature adult to...
Read moreGreat service for real. I froze when dude on the register asked if I wanted ice or not in my water. So thoughtful. And the barista understood what a “sploosh” was before I could even get into describing it.I have been having issues with not getting a half cup of milk when I ask for a little dairy. Here they know whats up. Not quite a “splash” but a “sploosh”. Other places have not mastered this. And if in doubt-ask. She held the cup up (clear cup=iced bev) and asked if that was good. Because she smart. Its easier to add cream to a cup of coffee then it is to remove it. Tell the others! Seriously though model store. And I liked the little patio area with spaced out seating.107th ave aint much of a view but its a nice place for a pit stop when out shopping or running errands. Its also right next to the Eastbound bus stop coming from by...
Read moreI really like this starbucks. The place is pretty and the baristas are usually very friendly. But yesterday I wanted to redeem my free coffee, so the guy took my order and I had to wait like 10-15 minutes to ask what happened with my coffee, and nobody else was waiting but me. Even some people got there after me and had their orders first. When I finally got the coffee I had a sip and it didn't have the sugar free vanilla I asked for, so I told that to the barista and she said: the order was regular coffee. So I said back: I ordered a grande latte with sugar free vanilla, she fixed it but with an attitude, she didn't spit on it because I was looking at her. I hope next time I don't get that attitude after I pay more than $4 for a coffee. I went to that place to have my coffee, chill, and it was a totally stressful situation. Too bad...
