Read moreI’ve been coming to this place for years and today I got there with a friend to have lunch since we were in the area. We wanted fast service so we sat at the bar! There was this young gentleman at the bar named Daniel who is definitely new in every aspect of this industry, I asked him for a margarita with reposado tequila and he didn’t even know what was available at the store, asked for a Texas style margarita and for grand mariner he had no idea what that was, nor a drop of water was offered!. But he was proud to say I’m here every day after I said I come here all the time like that matters with the poor costumer service we had. Then we got to the food order I asked if it was possible to switch the beans for extra rice since I can’t eat beans due to doctors food restrictions, and they couldn’t make the substitution that according to management is impossible!!! So she is telling me that their kitchen can’t use a spoon to place rice instead of beans??? That was ridiculous even tho in my prior visits there they made it happen the restaurant wasn’t even busy! I’m 100% sure she is new and has absolutely no experience in the management position, her explanation was “the kitchen can’t make this kind of arrangements” as simple as that I didn’t feel like arguing with her because I was pretty hungry and didn’t want to waste my time with someone like that. I guess we have to believe that rice is more expensive in this restaurant since they tried to charge me for changing beans. To the owner of this place inform your staff about food basic essentials and costumer service essentials 101 as well to perform better responses less attitude and to know what’s best for the business, FYI beans and rice are definitely something that can be fixed in a plate in every place they have this kind of sides not everyone eats beans and what’s impressive is that proteins CAN be substituted in the plates. Unfortunately for this business I won’t be returning to this place...
Read moreMy experience at this location was outstanding. After a stop by from the mall I decided to come here and was seated in less than 2 minutes.
The service at this location is amazing! Much better than any other restaurants. When I came to the restaurant, I was greeted by one of the employees, or shift managers if I can recall correctly, asking me to sample their new drinks. They were delicious but I decided to stick with the Mango smoothie. It was very fresh and delicious. This was something I would get at a Colombian restaurant. The service was not only amazing, a server named Maria or something similar to her name was very kind and she even gifted me and some friends some snacks at the end. You'll see many employees doing what exactly like Maria is doing here. And be aware, there are some employees passing down some pastries or other food that will hit for a reasonable price. I tried the pastries and it was delicious.
Now let's talk about the atmosphere of the building, it looks very astonishing, clean and it's even active too. It holds such a beautiful atmosphere, something I don't see in some other local restaurants. They also were playing live music during the experience. I didn't really mind it since that didn't bother me. They also had a big TV screen in the restaurant too. The paintings and the murals give a sense of beauty.
The food, I got the #24, the meal was very delicious. The taste was something that was made out of pure love from the heart. The rice was tasty, nothing special. The chicken was a little tough, and that was my only problem but I decided to stick with it anyway by cutting it altogether. The plantains, avocados and the other sides of the dish were very delicious too! The plantains were my favorite too.
Overall of the experience - 10/10. I will come...
