I have never been so humiliated and so upset by not only the server but the manager her self here.. Me and my husband was invited out to have lunch today by a friend and his family. when the server brought the check she was informed that there was two children in the group and they were ages 9 and 10 years of age.. The server looked confused and we thought she was going to go correct the check but instead the manager come back to the table and instead of her confronting the FATHER of the two CHILDREN, went and asked the CHILDREN their ages and proceeded to question the two minors and even asked the NINE YEAR OLD CHILD to present HER BIRTH CERTIFICATE!!!! The father and manager got into a disagreement and she continued to request the childs BIRTH CERTIFICATE!! OF ALL MY YEARS (WHICH IS OVER 15 YEARS) OF FOOD SERVICE AND COSTUMER SERVICE HAVE I EVER HAD ANYONE EVER ASK SUCH A THING FROM A CHILD OR PARENT AT A RESTAURANT!! As an adult and the one in charge of a place of business if you have any problems or concerns of a child YOU DO NOT APPROACH THE MINOR CHILD BUT THEIR PARENTS.... THERE IS NEVER A GOOD REASON TO QUESTION A CHILD EVER UNLESS YOU THINK THE CHILD IS IN HARMS WAY... IN WHICH SHE WAS NOT.. .. INSTEAD OUR LUNCH WAS INTERRUPTED AND WAS MADE VERY UNCOMFORTABLE AND BOTHERED US WHILE WE WERE STILL TRYING TO ENJOY OUR MEAL.. THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE WAS UNNECESSARY, RUDE AND HAD THE CHILDREN SCARED CAUSE THEY WERE QUESTIONED THEIR AGE.. NO THEY DIDN'T LOOK THEIR AGE BUT IN THIS DAY AND TIME KIDS TEND TO LOOK OLDER THAN WHAT THEY ARE DUE TO THE STUFF THAT IS BEING PUT IN OUR FOODS AND SOME CULTURES DO TEND TO LOOK OLDER AND EVERY CHILD GROWS AT A DIFFERENT RATE.. STILL THIS GIVE THE MANAGER NO RIGHT TO COME A QUESTION THE AGE OF THE CHILDREN AFTER THEY WERE TOLD THE AGES AND SPECIFICALLY NOT THE MINOR CHILDREN THEMSELVES... SHE SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF HERSELF AND THEY WAY SHE MADE THE ENTIRE TABLE AND THE KIDS THEM SELVES FEEL... I AS A PARENT MYSELF AM OUTRAGED AND WILL NOT BE GOING BACK TO THIS PLACE AT ALL AND WILL TELL PEOPLE OF MY EXPERIENCE HERE... BY THE TIME SHE WAS WILLING TO FIX HER MESS UP SHE EVEN PROCEEDED TO FOLLOW US OUT THE DOOR AND HAD THE NERVE TO ASK FOR A PIC WITH THE GIRLS WHICH DUE TO HOW UNCOMFORTABLE SHE HAD ALREADY MADE THE EXPERIENCE THEY KINDLY REFUSED.... THIS IS NOT A CHILD FRIENDLY PLACE TO EAT...
Read moreI was really happy to find a Chinese buffet near me with crab legs. So Excited about it , i decided to go to dinner their instead of red lobster. To my surprise I was very, very, but very disappointed to have waited over 30 min for crab legs and on top of that a sign that told me only 5 crab legs per person. I asked my waitress if I can just order a couple of pounds and I would pay for then separately she said no. I wasn’t finished eating when the waitress comes and takes my tab from my table where she put it at and now later picked it up and asked me if I was ready to pay. Her name is amber. Amber you never go charge a customer while their eating their dessert, and even after you’ve already laid the ticket on their table. Then I went to the restroom, uh!!!! Nasty as nasty could be, no toilet paper, filthy, and they take for ever to put out more crab legs, they put about 25 legs at a time, then you wait an hr., for 25 more legs to come out, people in line to get 5 legs each. You have to get back in line if you want 5 more for spouse or child. The grill guys are pouty, bad mood, no words, you can’t even tell if they heard you or understood what you want and how you want it. You ask a worker about the crab legs and they ignore you and keep walking. Very rude. They argue amongst each other. Wow!!!! They need to have staff clean their bathroom. And this wire crossing across the sink , that’s an electrocution waiting to happen for both adults and children washing their hands . That’s very Dangerous!!!! Fire Marshall would definitely not go for that!!! 7/17/19 decided to go back again today and guess what????? The darker pics are from today 7/17/19.....the first pic is from the first bathroom stall the wire is laying in water plugged on the other side of the wall. The wire going up towards the sink and beside the sink plugged into the wall. Beside running water sink. And the floor having puddle of water with the wire in it. Then the wall has toilet paper stuck in between the walls of the bathroom stall and the wire. If it was to just make a spark, it will catch in flames fast or someone could be electrocuted. Jessi, my waitress asked me if I wanted my ticket, and I wasn’t finished...
Read moreWe arrived a bit early for dinner and it was obvious. Much of the food was dried out after sitting out from lunch. Even after stirring I found it unappealing. I did manage to find a couple items. Then I noticed the dinner was coming out. A little better. I was somewhat disheartened when I tasted margarine instead of butter, most of the food was greasy and often food was floating and a margarine-based water concoction that was completely unappealing. The sushi was also dried out but again fresher food came out as the dinner hour approached. On a level of one to five I found the food to be substandard at best which is why I gave it two stars.
There was a sign at most of the buffet stations indicating customers were required to use gloves or hand sanitizer before going to the buffet. My husband noticed that only he and our grandson used hand sanitizer and even after setting examples most customers bypassed the invitation to use gloves or sanitizer. Many of the guests wore masks incorrectly if at all. We used this time to explain to our grandson that he was smarter than most adults. I sanitized our table while my husband and grandson were at the buffet. The debris on the wipe was disgusting.
The restaurant was dirty to say the least. Our table was slimy and the napkin holder was sticky. The bench seat was well worn and scratchy on my legs. With plenty of room to sit we were seated next to another couple, but the seat back for the booth was high enough we felt comfortable staying.
On the upside, our hostess was pleasant and the waiter was accommodating and friendly. They wore their masks correctly and were attentive.
This restaurant is one of my grandson's favorites so we made the best of the situation to give him a pleasant...
