Hibachi Joe's, Dothan, Alabama — Restaurant in Dothan

I visit the restaurant for take out and only have had the kids meal because I don't eat heavy for lunch. The shrimp, chicken, and rice kids combo with yum yum sauce is next level good. Honestly I can eat it everyday. When I mention Hibachi in my house my son come running to find out will I bring him some back. Frankly it is the only meal same as myself that we will eat every bite and the only meal he uses condiments and put it all over . He loves yum yum sauce. My son is a picky eater and not into food at all so to find something he devours was a joy to watch him enjoy. I plan on using Joe for some dinner parties I like his one stop set up and frankly his prices are far for 2-10 people. If you haven't planned a event expenses can get high quickly so Joe set up is great he sets everything up for the party...love your food Joe and appreciate what you bring...

I called 4 hours ahead to order a party pack. I let them know what time I needed my food ready, they told me that wasn’t a problem. I arrived at the time that I told them, my food was not yet prepared, they acted like they didn’t even know we had called ahead, they also weren’t sure of our order. They told us it would be a wait on the food. We ended up waiting 20 minutes. They weren’t apologetic whatsoever. The food was overpriced, I paid $130 for food that wasn’t freshly made. I heard great things about this place so I decided to try them out. I called to place an order and was told to hold. Well, I was on hold for 7 mins and I guess she forgot to put the phone on hold because I heard her entire conversation. They were cursing and talking about not washing dishes. Idk if they were talking about the dishes at the restaurant or what but that was beyond unprofessional.
