Marco's Pizza — Restaurant in Dothan

Now, I Normally don’t waste my time doing this but I’m sharing my experiences here so no one else has to deal with it in the future!

I gotta say, I worked at this establishment for maybe a month? Maybe? I have never been in such an unprofessional setting in my life, the staff talking so inappropriately and being so unprofessional! I’m only 21 and I wouldn’t be caught talking that way in my place of work! Being loud about VERY inappropriate things. Now I understand every place of work has its ups and downs, but oh my.

Maybe it could’ve worked under the old management, but the new management will definitely be the down fall of this store. The customer service and all. It’s truly sad, I enjoy making pizza and I’m good at it! BUT working with the management that is currently there was not an option. Having a death in the family, I’m told to take all the time I need, I’m hard headed so tried coming to work anyways, but ended up being so emotional I’d ask to leave, before leaving I was told to take the rest of the week off, “We’ll start fresh next week”, I told her I’d try to still come in my next shift but wasn’t promising, she was OK with that. But then the manager said she never said that? Hmm really.. THEN when they start messing with your pay? Being told an amount when starting, then just to be told after you quit due to stress that that’s not what was said, so I ask for the cameras to be played back, so we can confirm these incidents, I was rudely told “ha, our cameras don’t have sound.”, how nice is that? They get to mess with your money during a pandemic and then laugh about it? How hilarious.

The food is good quality but unfortunately the Management is not.

The guy at the register took our order, touching the computer screen went to back got pizza out the oven came back to register never washing his hand. Goes back to make a pizza with his nasty hands ready in the cheese container to put cheese on someone’s pizza never never never washed his hands . I politely asked him to speak with me for a sec . I asked was that my grandson pizza he was making he said no so I proceeded to tell him he needs to wash his hands because he just handle the register , card machine and put his hands in the cheese container . So just know I had to say something and he acted as though he was thinking . No one wears gloves , imagine me looking at the young lady wipe the residue from the cheese she put on a pizza on her black pants then reach into another container for a different topping .Yall might want to come in and watch who making yall pizza from here . They have good wings and pizza but sanitation wise is disgusting. I told the gentlemen what if somebody got sick from here by not using gloves wiping y’all on your clothes and putting your hands on and the register and touching their food you all would not agree with that. You will fight that to the end, and knowing that you’re not being clean This was my last...

Ordered a pizza an hour later received a call from the delivery driver. He was at the wrong location. The delivery driver was very nice and said I’m sorry I have the wrong address I said OK I called the store to try to get some resolution the manager, Amber said that she couldn’t do anything but remake the order. I’ve been waiting for an hour and the order is wrong. She then proceeded to tell me that the delivery driver had autism and I never said anything about the delivery driver, but she made it like I was saying that he did something wrong. I am mediately let her know that she was the incompetent one and that her delivery driver did nothing wrong. Some people should not work in retail. I will never order pizza from this location again and $60 for pizza that never arrives and the manager does. Nothing about is a serious problem, please stay away from this place.
