Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Dothan

Went through the drive through and ordered 11pc chicken we were told at the time of ordering that it will be a 4 minute wait. We said that was fine. Got to the pay window to pay for our chicken and ask at the window will it be long, because we can come back we have pizza to pick up. The drive through associate said no it will not be long. Our order was paid for at 8:34. It was8:47 when we notice the time. I knew the pizza place that we had order our pizzas close at 9p.. so we left called on the phone to inform popeyes that we left,but will return to get our chicken. An extremely rude person answered the phone completely unprofessional. She could not hear what we were saying we had to keep repeating our-selves. She kept cutting me off and talking while I was talking, which is why she couldnt hear what was being said. She had an aditude the whole time. We told her we order an 11 pc. Her cutting my son off stating we didn't get no call order. We told we ordered it through drive thru. She ask if anyone had an 11pc. She said it was ready. We then to her that we left and will come back to get it. She said that they have it and did we want our chicken or not. I told her that we left because they told us a 4 minute wait, but it toke longer. I told her we need to pick up our pizza and that the pizza place close at 9pm. She continued to give an aditude and asked again did we want our chicken or not. I told her I already paid for the chicken and I was coming to get it. Im a delivery driver and staff gave me the order wrong, when I came back they were rude and yelled at me through the speaker: Me (after waiting 5minutes): Good evening.

Her: can you hold on a MINUTE!

Me: OK.

Her: What you want?

Me: My order was wrong I'm just picking up the-

Her (cuts me off): Are you the guy with the pick-up and that kid!?

Me: No

Her: Then are you the guy with the Gray truck!?

Me: No. I am just picking up a 6 piece wing that you guys forgot, I called ahead.

Her: OK then pull around Ig.

Me: Okay.

The cook was at the window (who I spoke with on the phone) and he was very nice (wearing an orange DragonBall hoddie). He apologized for the way his coworker was yelling and being rude and explained that some people called out and he was the only cook.

I understand that work can be stressful but this is no way she should speack to your customers.

This ordeal not only costed me time, it also costed me another delivery because I had to go back and get the things that should've been on the first order, as well as patience.

On a last note. I just came back for another delivery and the drive through played a message saying they were closed at 2140, when google/their sign/the paper upfront says they are open until 2300.

Eating in or taking out I do not recommend this establishment in the least, specially if you have kids who you do not want exposed to foul language, or just don't want to get yelled at as the customer, until they change staff/management (except for the cook he was super nice and the only reason I din't ask to speak with...

I was driving a 26 ft straight truck so I could not go through the drive-thru. I parked next to the drive-thru window and knocked on the window when an employee appeared. I asked if I could order, because some places don't allow you to order if you don't drive through. she took my order and I went and sat in my truck. Then she brought it out and I drove away. I was driving from Florida to Minnesota it was after dark so I could not see the food. As I drove away and got set to continue on my journey I tried one of the sandwiches. I tried, but I couldn't eat it. I was so disgusted with it that I threw it out of the window. I have a feeling that the employees decided to give me cold food but really old food. It was cold obviously not heated at all, and it must have been sitting out for quite a while, because it was dry, crusty and nasty. I had loaded a truck in Port St Lucie Florida on that morning and hadn't eaten all day. My goal was to make it to Montgomery. This was my food stop. It's not too often that I gag from eating food from pop eyes, but this time I did. I threw my dinner out the window because of how nasty it was. They may have thought it was funny, but they ruined Popeye's chicken for me forever. I never planned on going back to the store in Alabama, and unfortunately my experience will keep me out of any store in my area for the rest of my life.
