My family and I have patronized the Dairy Queen/ Orange Julius in Arbor Place Mall for many years now. However, on the evening of Sunday, February 16, 2014 I was left feeling disgusted, humiliated, overwhelmed and feeling like I have been taken advantage of due to the unacceptable treatment that I received from this franchise owner. On this Sunday evening, I intended to enjoy dessert with my daughters and niece after some light shopping and eating in the food court. The owner of this particular franchise just so happened to service me. She took my order, payment and prepared my 2 small vanilla ice cream cones.
After she collected my cash payment she proceeded to prepare my ice cream cones without washing her hands, using gloves or using a napkin to grab the cones. As she came back towards the register with my two cones in one of her hands, I politely asked if she'd mind remaking one of my ice cream cones because I notice she was touching the top part cone with her hands. I informed her that I actually intended to eat my cone as well as my ice cream and that I did not feel comfortable with eating the cone that she handed me with her bare hands. She was very aggressive and defensive as she refused to remake my ice cream denying that she put her hands on the cone. I asked her to refund my money if she was unable to remake the cone. She refused once more, insisted that I move away from her business and threatened to call the mall security if I was not going to accept the cones she had already made. At no point did I raise my voice or say anything inappropriate to her as I had my 2 daughters and my niece with me.
At this point I told her I would just speak with the mall security myself in efforts to get my refund. She continued to display unprofessionalism as she walked behind us and continued to talk at my children and I stating that āyou and your family are banned from my business. I do not want you to ever come backā. Her aggressive and unprofessional behavior was unwarranted, inappropriate and unacceptable. My kids were very confused and upset because they did not understand what was going on and why this person was acting this way. She had little to no regard for my children, as they were very intimidated by her behavior. After this horrific experience my family and I will never patronize not only this Dairy Queen but any Dairy Queen franchise in fear of this being the same outcome of any request for a refund or request to remake food. Please Note: I never received a refund and the only alternative I had was to fill out a complaint card in the Mall...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAs long as Iāve been coming to Arbor place, I have never been so upset at a place than I was today! I ordered a mini blizzard and there was no problem, the girls was sweet but the older lady as a manager was the most ugliest, rudest person Iāve encountered! She rudely asked me to move and Iām the only person in line, then proceeds to say if someone comes I will have to move. No duh! But thatās not it, before I could get my ice cream she gave me all of that attitude, she didnāt want to tell me her name, so I immediately asked for a refund and I was denied! I no longer wanted to support such an ugly individual nor the business. She refused. I tossed the ice cream in the trash because it wasnāt even worth it. I am disappointed that sheās someone who works with teenagers all day and is this rude. Poor girls that has to...

We end up throwing our blizzards away. $25 gone down the drain. Also the young guy forgot one of the blizzards and I had to remind him that it was another. Due to the spoil milk my family and I are all experiencing stomach aches. I am grossed out and discussed. Same on you all for serving expired milk in a diary store. No...
