Do not bring your sports team to this establishment! I made this mistake and it was a nightmare. Called the evening before and asked if they could set a long table for 28 people,(our soccer team plus parents). They said it would be $100 deposit to reserve because they do not accept reservations. If I paid the $100, I was informed it would go towards the entire tab PLUS there would be no possibility of breaking the tab up separately, it would have to be paid on one bill. Since I was not planning on contributing $100 towards the team lunch AND I def needed the ability for parents to pay separately. Carly, the waitress suggested that I call morning of our game and ask for them to set up a table for 28 and they most likely would do it. So the morning of I called and Rachel answered the phone and let me know they would be more than happy to set up our table for 28. Once the game was finished and we were headed over I called Fabiano's again to let them know we'd be there in 10 minutes. They informed me the table was set and ready for us. Great, right? WRONG. We arrived and walked into the room they indicated had been setup for us and I found another soccer team sitting at half of our table! They had just arrived, not ordered drinks or food. I found the manager and explained that the table was setup for MY team and they had mistakingly sat a another team there & requested they ask the other team to move to another table. She refused telling me that I didn't pay the $100 and they don't hold tables and she was "sorry." Right. So my team had to sit at FOUR disconnected tables all over the room to make it work for our large party. To add to the catastrophe they only had one waitstaff person attending the entire room full of about 50+ people! Again, I requested to the Mgr that we had another soccer game approaching soon and one waitress getting drinks and food for so many was totally insufficient. She said the were "short staffed" and one waitress was all she could manage for our area, again adding the insincere "sorry". I asked our waitress nicely to please take our food order as we had already been sitting there for 40 minutes without ordering. As the waitress started taking our order, the 'other' soccer team sitting awkwardly at half of our long table interrupted our waitress and demanded to know when they could place their order for food. She explained that we were a big party of 28 people and they were only 9 people and she would get to them after. This obviously angered the man and he went to the manager to complain. The same manager that told me they were short staffed and nothing could be done to help expedite our ordering situation all of a sudden this manager started taking the other teams order! OMG, she wouldn't help us, a party of 28 that was bringing in approx $1000 of business but she was more than happy to oblige the other team order. Of course the other team got their food almost immediately while we had to wait over an hour for ours. My team parents were complaining to me that the boys were starving & I was filled with regret that I chose this restaurant for our patronage. My advice to anyone coming to town with a large party of diners, NOT go to Fabiano's. We arrived at 12:45 and did not leave until 3PM. It took 2 hours and 15 minutes to be served here. BIG mistake to come. I cannot stress enough that unless you want to pay the $100 deposit, do not expect any help whatsoever from this restaurant to accommodate a large party. Not only that but the manager was extremely rude and had total lack of disregard for our time. Side note, I was not familiar with Douglasville but after going to Fabiano's today I saw many cute little restaurants in the downtown area that would have been much better suited for a large party. PLEASE choose one of those restaurants. Anything would have been better...
Read moreThe food was awesome as usual The problem is had with this visit was a manager that blamed us for everything I have waited tables all my life, and when we arrived they weren't short staffed...or overly busy. We ordered drinks and a app..when that arrived we ordered dinner. A pizza. And a canzone. The 2 ales that we ordered were open with a glass when they got to the table. I poured and took 2 sips. As my sister was drinking hers she took notice that these were not the ones we ordered. She mentioned it but no biggie and just shrugged it off. 10 min later our server came by and admitted to her mistake. That she had brought the wrong drinks. She told us don't worry I will have them taken off the bill. After waiting an hour for food, and wrong drinks...we went to check out. Our server dropped the bill and Laura noticed that the first drinks were still on the bill. After waving the server down....she apologized and said she would have it taken care of. After wsiting 10 min our server came back and said the manager won't take them off. I spoke up and said please send her over here. We'll that was the worst thing ever. This 20 year old manager proceeded to tell us that we drank them therefore we were paying for them. Even tho the server offered to remove them. In the midst of conversation Laura told her I just spent over 300 bucks here for my offices lunch. You wanna know what her response was...she flat out said " I don't care" At this point, I had set 10 on the table and I picked it up. The manager had the nerve to question me about my tip. I flat out said that was none of her business. It wasn't. I've never had such poor management to deal with as I did this place. The tip ...I picked it up to hand to the server personally. So no I didn't stiff her. Such poor management....there was numerous other things that the manager was totally wrong about but im gonna leave it here. We won't be back to this place....
Read moreIt started off well, by my family member recommending this place because they had really good pizza. Mind you were not from the areas Well we ordered the pizza over the phone and everything was fine, they told us it was going to be 45 mins and an hour later we got a phone call stating that our delivery was 2 miles past their radius for delivery which is 8 miles annnd we will not be able to deliver unless they know the drivers gas will be covered. HOW TACKY! I proceeded to ask questions, we were going to tip the driver and just wanted to know how much longer it would be. The ILL MANNERED wanna be manager responded and said “welllll it’ll be a little while bc he has to do another delivery before you etc.. blah blah blah” well ONE the delivery time has exceeded the ETA that we were given and NOW you want me to wait and provide gas for the driver??? Wow! The phone call ended by the female wanna be manager. RUDE. We proceeded to the store to make sure my order would be refunded the $31 and change they said they would refund. Got to the store and the wanna be manager is clapping and raising her voice and all we asked for in a frustrated manner at this point; who was HER BOSS bc she was just too nasty and not customer service friendly (which later at a better pizza place called Fabianos we found out they have had complaints before at Jhonny’s) a white male customer proceeded to INTRUDE into the conversation and jump out of his chair in a threatening way and throw his two cents. WHO CARES! Another employee tried to call the police for God’s given reason... nothing became physical but there was a verbal altercation. She did give us the “Manager” over her AJ. They’ll be so so sorry in the end of it all.. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE....
