Updated review-March 4,2022.
All I can say is Wow! What a difference time makes! I think Olive Garden took my review and some other reviews to heart! Due to previous negative experiences, we almost drove a distance for Italian food tonight, but decided to chance it at this Olive Garden again. We are so glad we did. We were seated right away and our server LaTerra (sp?) was outstanding! She was responsive, friendly and attentive. We never knew you could customize the salad or that you could get another salad dressing besides the Italian! Food was great and came out in a timely manner. I don't know what else to say-this server changed our whole mindset about this OG restaurant. We will be back again in the future. Thank you to the management for heeding your customers comments! We have been here many times before, but tonight was absolutely horrible in terms of customer service. We came on Friday night and expected a wait. We were told that the wait would be 20-25 minutes, but we could sit at the bar if we preferred. So we walk over to the bar where there were plenty of seats, but every available spot had multiple dirty dishes at it. We waited about 5 minutes and when we finally asked if we could get a spot cleaned to sit at the bar, they said yes, but it seemed we were bothering them. After five more minutes, someone came over and said it would be a few minutes before they could get cleared off. We opted to wait for the table and were seated relatively quickly. Before I continue, let me say, on this Friday at 8pm, less than half of the tables had people seated at them. After we were seated, we waited almost 15 minutes before anyone came over to ask us for a drink order. Servers galore were walking by and it felt like we were invisible! We finally had to wave somebody down! When the waitress came over, she apologized and asked if we were ready to order. We ordered and I asked for a modification to the menu item. She said she would come back to let me know if she could make the modification. About 5 or 6 more minutes go by. (Mind you we have no salad at this point either). We flag her down as she goes by to ask if she had put in the order. She said yes. I asked her if the modification was approved. She said, "Ok I lied. I didn't put your order in yet. Im going to do it right now." (My face š”) While waiting for our food (salad and bread too) a manger came over to ask if we had been helped. She looked up our orders on an iPad and we confirmed their accuracy. After her visit things were somewhat better. Food came out relatively quickly and correctly and tasted fine. We did ask for some condiments and additional bread which took forever to come (additional bread never showed up though). Will we go back to Olive Garden? Not sure, but it will definitely be awhile...

After a lovely Sunday service, I took my daughters to Olive Garden to enjoy one of our favorite traditionsāsoup, salad, and pasta. We were excited to be there, and the atmosphere, as always, was warm and inviting. However, our experience started off less than ideal due to our serverās lack of attentiveness.
We waited over 10 minutes before our waitress, Jordan, even acknowledged usādespite a couple being seated at the table directly across from us after we arrived. Oddly enough, Jordan took their drink order and brought them bread before bringing the bread we had already requested. My oldest daughter noticed this, and although I initially brushed it off, the pattern continued.
When the salad arrived, I mentioned to Jordan that the table next to us had been served bread first. Her response was that her co-worker brought itāyet no one else had been at that table. Still trying to remain gracious, I asked for cheese for my salad, to which she agreed. But once again, instead of coming directly to our table, she went to the same table next to us and served them cheese first, even though we had asked for it before them.
At that point, I calmly spoke upānot to cause a scene, but because I had my daughters with me, and I didnāt want them to feel overlooked or disrespected during a meal we were looking forward to. I also wanted to ensure the rest of our visit didnāt continue on a negative note. Jordan then went to get the manager, Sarah.
Let me pause here to express my gratitude to Sarah. She was professional, kind, and sincerely apologetic. Once I explained what had happened, she took over our table immediately and personally ensured that our experience ended on a much more positive note. She checked on us regularly, made sure we had everything we needed, and turned the situation around with compassion and grace. I truly appreciated that.
What disappointed me most, though, was that Jordan never returnedānot even to offer an apology or to simply acknowledge the misunderstanding. Whether intentional or not, the lack of courtesy and follow-through left a lasting impression. A sincere apology, even for an oversight, goes a long way.
In the end, our evening was salvaged by a manager who clearly understands the importance of customer service. Iām thankful for that. But I do hope that Olive Garden continues to train and guide its staff to be mindful of how small actionsāespecially when witnessed by childrenācan make guests feel either welcomed...
Read moreOk So where do I start ,my wife and I where at the mall and we didn't want to eat food court food so we decided it's our cheat day let's swing over to Olive Garden .Upon arrival we were seated pretty quickly by the bar ,got some breadsticks, and shortly after greeted by our server who by the way was doing the best she could in environment that's set up to make her fail. So after that we put in some apps and some drinks and thats when the experience started going left .The bartender was super unprofessional and could care less about providing guest satisfaction. So my wife's drink was literally syrup so we ask if she could have an Itlian margarita instead and the bartender was not to happy ,the other drink took for ever when it should of been made on the fly .Entrées took over 20 mins and which point I decided to order an old fashion, the bartender made the drink and then set it up on the service window ,instead over literally coming around the bar and running it to us ,so I waited and watched my drink sit on the counter for about 7 min becoming diluted and losing all integrity At this point we kind of lost our appetite. IT was more important for the staff to get there Chinese takeout order all together then it was taking care of there guest. I Write this feedback not as a complaint but as a letter of awareness. I too am apart of this industry and we are slowly fading away due to lack of Leadership and most importantly people just caring and doing there job to the best of there ability. We were the industry that was hit the hardest during covid and now as we slowly get back into some type of normality we should be putting our best foot forward.Taking every opportunity to apperciate and give every guest the best dinning experience we can .I hope this may impact someone to look at future guest that walk through there venue as an opportunity to impact someone way more then just spaghetti and drinks but providing them with a memorable experience that will help keep our industry alive!!Looking back the chicken on a stick at the food court left a far better taste in my mouth then did the experience at the...
