Coney Island Grill — Restaurant in Dover

As this is a new venue and considering growing pains, I gave two stars. With that said here goes...We had been waiting three weeks on top of the time of took to actually open and finally got in this past Saturday. When I say it was like something out of The The Stooges I assure that I am not exaggerating! We ordered two Cali dogs and onion rings...(Oh, and a soda water that I never got). The hot dogs were of regular dog length as were the buns. We watched in horror as the 'Chef', aka Larry, proceeded to remove the buns from the steamer and the dogs from the grill, placing both in the serving basket. He then retrieved the rings from the freezer and started then while our dogs and buns cooled. The dogs came with bacon pico, guac and cheese, which was quite appealing considering my love of the Danger Dog from Taco Reho in Rehoboth. When presented to us the dogs were dishevelled, cold and appeared to have been brushed with an avocado and what loosely could be called jar salsa... The cheese was a slice, halved, with one atop mine and the other atop hers! Needless to say we left there dissatisfied and headed right for Rehoboth for the real deal! Adding insult to injury, or meal in Rehoboth was $6 more (as I tipped the left over $1 from the $20). Please improve our sadly you will not be around for...

Horrible..Horrible..Service and. Rip off of food. The young "woman" had a bad attitude. All I wanted to do was upgrade my meal and spend more money. When I asked..the person threw her hands up at me and said "I don't have time for this, I'm getting the manager"!...Im like please get them..so the "manager" comes and he is trying to argue with me too. I'm like can I just have my money back..im not going back and forth with you..all while the "woman" is off to the side throwing up their hands telling me to get out...get out. I'm like what kind of establishment is this??..DONT CHECK EM OUT...HORRIBLE SERVICE AND FAKE...

Went a couple days after opening around lunch time(which may have been my mistake) but waited 45 minutes for just one hot dog. Their ticketing system is lacking, once the hot dog was done I seemed to be the only one to know it was mine. After receiving the hot dog, toppings were delicious(Delaware destroyer), roll was good, but the actual hot dog itself was barely even warm.

My wife and I went back today not during the lunch time rush so wait time was a little less. Tried a couple new things and nothing was hot but the fries. Really had high hopes...
