Such a cute place!!! They put in a lot of time and effort into the interior design. It's a small restaurant with a very unique vibe located in the huge Apollo shopping center with plenty of parking. They also have some unique flavors that I have not seen at other Korean fried chicken places and it was good. I ordered the Original, Honey Luv, Red Disco, and Anchovy, and the Anchovy was the best out of all of them. I know it doesn't necessarily sound that appealing but it does NOT taste fishy at all. There are no chunks of fish stuck to the chicken. It is full of deliciousness and I highly recommend giving it a try. The most disappointing out of the bunch was Honey Luv only because it barely tasted any different from the Original. It was still good but if I was blindfolded, I'm not sure if I could tell it apart from the Original. My suggestion, get one or the other. The Red Disco was good as well but I thought it would be spicy, but it really wasn't. The chicken wings are big and juicy and were tasty. The service was great but the prices were a bit high. I would come back if only for the...
Read moreThis new Korean chicken place just opened next to the hospital so we got to try it! And we loved it! We've been coming back a few times this week! The new restaurant replaces the old "Running Chicks". The new decor is super cute: old radios and vinyls on the walls. The wings are amazing! One of the best we have had. They have a good choice of different flavors. Our favorite so far are Red Disco and Honey Luv Rap. Gim Ballad is very interesting too if you like crunchy and seaweed! We will come back to test the rest of the flavors! The fries are also very good! We like the "anchovy" flavor, which doesn't taste "fishy" at all! The menu is still limited for now, but the owners have told us more items will be added in the next few weeks! We can't wait to try them. But above all, beyond the great food, what makes us want to come back is the service! The owners are super friendly...
Read moreThis is the worst "Korean" fried chicken I've had the displeasure of consuming in the past 5 years. As a Korean immigrant, I'm rather offended that this is even being called Korean chicken.
No breading or panko, on pieces of breast drier than the mojave out back. Sauces are bland and inauthentic. To top it all off, it's extremely overpriced.
The interior looked chic, but the table surfaces were sticky and there was nobody there even at dinnertime on a weekend.
Take this as a PSA and don't waste...
