My party ate at Diosa 9/23/23. If I could give service a ZERO ratings I would. Once we were seated it took a little bit to get water but not long. I no told server that 2 people in party required a separate check because they were ordering no alcohol. He says “no problem”. We literally had 3 servers plus a shadower. Our orders were wrong. Inaccurate Information told by different staff members. Ordered appetizer carnitas tacos. Never received. Then I believe a manager came to table and inquired if we were ok. No we were not. She took our entree order and I cancelled the carnitas tacos appetizers since our entrees would arrive soon. She offered chip & 3 salsas as a complimentary gesture for all the issues we experiencing. When we placed our entree orders again I was assured a separate check for the nonalcoholic drinkers. Food arrived. Also the carnitas tacos arrived which we cancelled way ahead of entree order Carnitas cast iron Plato was horrible. Over cooked pork and 200% dry. Fast forward. Check arrives. And not separate checks as requested on 3 separate occasions. They server Josue & Gilbert informed they would correct. As they both pranced around the restaurant, our separate checks were not returned. Over 30 minutes had passed. We requested a manager. He brought checks in 15 minutes. They checks were wrong and we were told if incorrect, call restaurant and get them corrected. We requested a correction while at the restaurant. Why leave restaurant without a correction???? Manager nor servers returned. We left after waiting another 30 minutes. We were done with entrees at 6:30, still light outside. We left restaurant after 8:30pm. Disgusting & discriminatory service by all of your staff. Yes we were the only table where there were black women. Extremely disappointed. It is now Sunday morning 9/24/23 and I’ve called restaurant 3 times. No answer. I also called Saturday night and left a message for a manager to return my call. My check included a salsa trio which was suppose to be complimentary for our several issues. I was charged for that. I was so charged for the carnitas tacos which I cancelled when entree order was taken. I was also charged for carnitas tacos. I was informed they would comp a reduction for the cast iron carnitas. We waited and waited. No one returned to our table. When we left we spoke with front desk hosts but refused to wait another minute for help. I will continue to call restaurant to request a correction in my bill. This was the most horrible restaurant...

I consider myself somewhat of a connoisseur of Mexican food. I've eaten everywhere from Tijuana taco trucks to Michelin star restaurants in Mexico City. I was excited to hear that a new upscale Mexican restaurant was opening near me. I looked at the menu and the prices before making my reservation and got the vibe that this would be something similar to the ultra lounges I've been to in Miami and resort towns in Mexico. Boy was I wrong.
The parking is non existent. You WILL have to valet. Not a big deal.
This restaurant seems to be trying too hard to check too many boxes. It seems to be a cocktail forward restaurant, as the cocktails were quite spendy and came out in try hard packaging and productions. It seemed very Vegas gimmick, without the Vegas mixology. I had a drink that came in a Tiffany and co box (not sure how that's legal) and the flavor profiles were off. It was also impossible to get my drink out of the contraption of a box it came in without spilling almost half of it.
I started with the empanadas. They were greasy and lacked flavor. Definitely not worth the pricetag. I've had several empanadas in my life for as little as a couple pesos that have knocked my socks off. The waiter had zero knowledge of the dishes on the menu. I would expect that from a casual dining restaurant but not somewhere that I'm planning on spending $500 on a meal. I asked for recommendations and if they served anything from a specific region of Mexico that my tequila came from. The waiter had no clue what I was talking about. The table next to me ordered a high-end tequila straight up and it was brought on ice and the server argued with them that straight up means a shot and they needed to specify if they wanted it without ice. Must have been his first day. All in all it seems like this opening may have been rushed or they might have hiring issues because none of their staff seems to be on the same page or have any knowledge about the restaurant.
The decor is a bit outdated as far as ultra lounges go. Reminiscent of Vegas/Miami 2015ish. This place seems to be going after the wallets of boomers, but the aesthetics scream freshly 21. Although I'm not sure anyone under 30 would be able to afford this place comfortably. I'd much rather have a good meal at Javier's and spend the same amount.
If this place hired a mixologist that could improve and fine tune the drink menu it may have a chance as a nightclub, but the food was so inauthentic and just straight bad, I'll...
