Ordered - rather specifically - an onion bagel with pork roll, one egg, and extra cheese. Received an onion bagel with pork roll, two eggs, and so little cheese - which I had paid extra for - I could barely taste it. There were traces of runny cheese, mostly on the wrapper, that I could see. I can't eat a lot of egg due to dietary and health issues and the sandwich ended up in the trash - a waste of roughly $10 given the upcharge for cheese. A small amount of egg I can handle, but this was the opposite of what I'd asked for. It was surprising given how attentive the staff seemed. When I go to Manhattan Bagel, they have never gotten it wrong, and are nearly gleeful with my request for an "ungodly" amount of cheese and minimal egg. As for Borough Bagels - not a great experience here.

I own and operate Russo’s Pizza in New Hope, and I never get to leave our business, so an employee brought back a bag of mixed bagels and fresh homemade spreads from Borough Bagels. I’ve had bagels from the West Coast to NYC, and I have to say Borough Bagels is the best I’ve had. My kids are picky and spoiled when it comes to food and they each had two bagels. Well done! Not to mention their homemade chocolate milk was out of this world. I appreciate and respect those who do small business and do it well. Borough Bagels does just that. The bagel was firm where it needed to be and soft where it should be. The spreads were light but heavy in taste. The products were packed clean and organized. I’m well fed and happy! And impressed! Thank you for a job well done!

First time here today--ordered an onion bagel with butter and coffee. Coffee was brewed either very strong or it was very old, not sure which, regardless, I poured it out in the parking lot; it was undrinkable. The real problem here was the bagel--flavorless, lacking in texture and on toasting the onions that were sprinkled on top burnt. Reminded me of bagels you find at the supermarket. Service was quick and the cashier (manager? owner?) was super-friendly. Menu is about what you'd expect at a place like this, and the restaurant was very clean.

I'm giving five stars because technically everything was okay but I have some real reservations about whether I would actually ever come back here. This is not a warm friendly place like you might expect in a small store in Pennsylvania. When I walked in the woman who appeared to be in charge was yelling into the phone with some sort of problem connecting. I was never greeted I had a hard time finding someone to take my order. And the process to get the order involved one person who took the order and made the order and the other people doing nothing.

To make matters worse I bought a couple extra bagels with my sandwiches and then they immediately proceeded to mark down the rest of the bagels to less than a quarter of the price that I paid and sell them to the person after me. There was no option to get a few extra bagels or anything like that I was just getting ripped off and screwed right in my face. Now I haven't had a good bagel and lox in a while so I did enjoy the sandwich. It wasn't as fresh as it could be and it wasn't as perfect as anything you would find in New York or Philadelphia but it was adequate so I'm giving five stars to...

When it comes to bagel shops this honestly might be one of the worst I've ever been to, I ordered a BLT for myself and for my girlfriend I ordered a bacon egg and cheese, my BLT which was supposed to be toasted was not and neither was my girlfriend's, her bacon was burnt to an absolute crisp and parts of my bacon were still raw, my tomatoes for my BLT were actually gross, tasting like plastic or almost like tin foil. My girlfriend's bacon egg and cheese didn't taste like egg or even had cheese, a pumpernickel bagel is supposed to have a distinguishable taste and somehow it just tasted like a plain bagel. And the top all of that off we had to wait an hour and 25 minutes for two bagels which almost were wrong because when I had gone to get my bag the woman at the front asked if I was 403, I replied yes and realized she'd only given me a single bagel only after asking for the second bagel did she realize that she put my girlfriend's bagel in a completely wrong order. I will never be going there again and nor do I encourage people...
